So my Vintage globe collection is growing. I have 4. One is in my craft room.
I found this adorable milk glass pitcher with lid. It fits right in my vintage orange and red kitchen decor.
I found this Disneyland metal piece. I'm not sure what it was apart of. Do you? It's a bit heavy. I plan on using it as a purse ornament.
I bought this Toy Story sheet.
I found a vintage Disney Snow White figurine with one sleepy dwarf.
I didn't purchase them. So many gnomes.
It was scratched but I bought it anyways. Vintage red Pyrex is hard to find locally.
I found these cute Thanksgiving wall hangings. From the 1980's.
I bought this quilt rack to display my tablecloths. I will change them out per season. I've been looking for the perfect one and then it finally showed up. I love thrifting.
I found these two creepy yet adorable dolls.
Gotta love finding vintage Friendship Pyrex on half off days. Perfection too. No scratches fades or chips.
I found this cute piggy bank. The plug is still there too.
I think this is a squirrel or a skunk. I'm not sure. Too cute to pass up.
I found this 1960's little girl in pink planter. This is the smallest planter I have ever found. Or seen. I am going to turn the planter into a pun cushion.
I found these reindeer along with theThanksgiving ones.
Meow!

I went with family/friends. We stayed in a 4 bedroom home with a loft on the beach. There was 34 of us. Not everyone was in the house. We had a few of us spread around. It's so much fun traveling and hanging out with so many. You can always find someone to go hang out with.
I was on the tippy top in the loft. The view was the best in the house. I had a little mini fridge and kitchen with sink up there. And at night it was so flipping cold. Thankfully I had lots of blankets and like 5 fluffy pillows.
The house had a little pool. It was little. Tiny. We all laughed at it but we all went in it. We hung out mainly outside for all 7 days we were there. Either on the side 2nd floor porch or under that little covered area you see by the pool. The house had 4 porches.
My day room view. The entire loft is surround by windows in a U shape on one side. So I could see so much.
This was the best place. Lazy river. They had a fun slide to go in too. They have several swim up bars which was everyone's favorite.
I had my hair braided while there. I miss them.
We were at Beaches Resort.
The water is perfect there. It's beautiful. Aqua. The sand I have never felt such velvet beautiful sand. I can't wait to go back!

Tennessee Thrift Store and Antique malls
are the best. I saw so many good things.
I purchased the deer the squirrel and the Japan puppy planter.
I saw planters EVERYWHERE!
I found this vintage Smurf fitted sheet at the thrift store.
I was so excited. I have been wanting one for a while.
Thankfully when I travel I hit up the thrifty stores.
Little gems are hidden all over the US in those thrifty
stores. You should go explore.
My Disney Photos
20 May 2013 6:31 AM (11 years ago)

We take tons of photos in this house.
We love our cameras. We try to capture everything
on film. We like to fill our house with walls of photos
of trips and family gatherings.
I went and got a collage of photos done of me
at Disney. I am doing one of hubby next. I have one already
done of us a couple. I also have one of my crafty self
and my craft shows and parties. I think I am addicted
to collages. I think I am.

I went to Tennessee again. I could go there once a month
and be such a Happy GIRL. A bunch of our friends who
are more family than friends were celebrating a graduation.
So off we went for a long 13 hour car ride. I love
road trips. I could travel in the car all the time.
We stayed in a cabin for a few days in the Smokey Mountains.
This place was dreamy. I have so many more photos to share
with you. I tried not to cram too many in this post.
I will show off more later. Plus I have to show you all the thrifting we did.
This cabin was crazy awesome.
It is a two story cabin. They have 3 bedrooms and
bathrooms upstairs. A fully loaded kitchen. A dining room.
A living room. A back play room with ping pong and pool tables.
A jacuzzi on the back porch. 5 bedrooms downstairs
and a back family room and rest room and laundry room.
The back yard was beautiful. Just all green and trees.
Tennessee grass feels pretty amazing on bare feet.
Looking at the cabin from behind.

I found these adorable pair of kittens locally.
I just love a good thrift store find.
It has been hard to find anything worthy for me to take home.
I am not out there hitting all the stores but the ones
I have been had some sad bare shelves.
I get so many uses for my thrifted suitcases.
You should go on a hunt and find you some.
Keep an eye open the color you want will appear. Make sure there is no crazy smells or stains.
Never pass up a good one that is not your color. TRADE it with your friends.
You will regret not buying them after you walk away. You can use them
for decor, craft shows, craft room storage and trips. Take them on your trips.
I have unfinished crafts in some of mine.
Mermaid Waves in my hair.
I found some Vintage crimpers from the 80's at the
thrift store. I am going to crimp my whole head.
I found this polk a dot scarf and this cute bunny.

I went to Tennessee.
In the Airplane bathroom selfie.
I was just about to barf.
I get motion sickness easy.
Sure I can ride rides at an amusement park but get
me on a plane for a few hours and I am toast.
South Florida Coast
I never been to Tennessee. I fell in love.
I left my heart there.
Hubby and I went to Tennessee to help a friend.
She is making over a 120 year old house in Maryville, Tennessee.
Where the walkways to the homes are long,
the trees are larger than thehouses and
all you see is GREEN everywhere.
Ok, it does help to
go in springtime. (ha)
My friend used to live next door to me for 6 years.
Then she up and left us all to Tennessee. I am so jealous.
I wish I could live there. I have known her since I was 16.
How could she leave me? I SEE NOW!
The moment I was having just stitching in the yard was life changing.
The house above is my friends home.
It was said to be haunted.
It was family owned for years until recently.
The neighbors who live around her tell her
of the stories they heard and things that went on
in that house when they were kids.
I am obsessed with trees. Did you notice the Florida coast line photo
above? That is how South Florida looks. UGLY to me.
I personally am tired of all this heat and humidity and
the grumpy people that live here.
Tennessee was so beautiful and people
were so nice. LIKE OH my gosh....NICE! Strangers being
nice to strangers and considerate. You do not see that here.
I crave the woods. I feel as if I am part and from the woods. I
am not a mermaid. I crave 4 seasons. to actually feel them and be apart of them.
Not to mention have a wardrobe that matches.
I think I found my dream. I am going to work on getting there.
Hubby loves it. I was shocked. He is a city boy who loves the beach.
He said he would move to Tennessee in a heart beat. He loves it too.
(my mouth is wide open in shock I tell you!!)
We visited several thrift stores while there. In a bunch of their
stores they have cats you can adopt. Some just have cats as pets in the store.
They live there. I LOVE THAT!
My friend is making over her house.
I see things that should stay.
She sees things that should go.
I say LEAVE that door alone.
I went to Hobby Lobby. We do not have one in South Florida.
It is a wonderful craft store.
I took a bath in an old fashioned tub. (heaven)
My best friend who lives in North Carolina drove over to see me.
We hung out all weekend and bought rings made from spoons.
The trees are amazing.
I love them.
I want them all around me.
I want to breathe them in with my eyes and soul.
This is in the Fort Lauderdale Airport.
I have not flown in years.
It was nice to see these changes.
We have a really beautiful airport.
MIAMI is horrible.(HA)
Once Upon a Toy
6 May 2013 6:04 AM (11 years ago)

You have to go to downtown Disney and check out this store.
It's called Once Upon a Toy.
They have this huge potato head station.
You build your own. You take a box and you fill it up for $19.
I couponed my tater heads a few months ago.
They had them on sale for 4.99 each at Toys R Us and when you bought one
you got the second half off. Well I had coupons to use for them
too. (Habro.com has coupons for toys every now and then)
I ended up paying $2 a piece for 2. DEAL!
Little did I know I was going to DISNEY my tater heads.
You can theme up your tater head any way you please.
You can fit so many parts in if you BUY your tater heads
before going here. You can get the head there but it takes up
so much room in the box. Leaving less room for
fun stuff.
I have these above my bed on a shelf.
If you go to this store, make sure you grab the special one of the moment.
When I went they were gearing up for Star Wars. These pieces come
and go and once gone......they are not coming back.

This time we stayed at Pop Century Resort.
In case you were ever wondering who my favorite is,
it's Snow White!! (Alice comes in 2nd)
I went on a penny smashing adventure this time.
I have a few creative plans to use these pennies.
Not big enough.
Disney Potty Floor Views
(haha)
Every Resort has pennies and every park.
the list of pennies, quarters and dime machines.
Even Downton Disney has them.
Make a checklist and go hunt.
Grand Floridan Cafe. (GO THERE)
We stayed in the 70's section.
This resort is so fun. I love it.

I have four new Primitive Raggedy Ann doll patterns in my Etsy shop.
Record Playing Sock Hop Raggedy Ann Doll
Classic Raggedy Ann Doll
Cotton Candy Queen Raggedy Ann Doll
Prim Emma Raggedy Ann Doll

Yes. We went to Disney World again.
I have to use up those years passes we bought.
I am going again soon.
I found a cute bag to match my outfit so I bought it.
In total love.
I stitched on my Danny Brito patch and was showing it off
at the parks. You can find them
here. If he does not have
any at the moment. Email him.
Totally Empty at the park. I had so much room to run around and
goof and ride rides with 20 min wait times. IF even that.
Sometimes you get lucky at the parks.
I just did a little change of some of clothing before I left.
I added vintage fun buttons to my sweater
and sewed on that patch.
