How to get your ex back? - No Contact Rule 25 Oct 2020 8:08 PM (4 years ago)

106 Pages | How to get your ex back? - No Contact Rule

When a relationship (especially a long and happy one) ends, the ending event and the weeks following it are traumatic for both sides. But most relationships are not ended after a mutual agreement and so the pain and trauma is not equal for both. For the person who is dumped, the split usually comes as a shock and deep pain. The dumper does not feel the same amount of pain and it is usually not a shock for them.

Since you are looking at this book, you are probably either dumped or you think you will be dumped soon. You are asking a lot of questions:

We will talk about these topics in this book. More, we will develop a game plan to handle all of these questions and problems.

But first, I must warn you! The no contact rule is far more successful than the commandments of love / romanticism myths (should I say religion?) but it is against everything you have heard from popular culture through movies, songs and novels. Don’t worry, I will explain why no contact rule is superior and why sappy methods of popular culture actually turns you into a creepy stalker who ruins his or her chance with his/her ex (or someone new) in the name of holy “love”. This book can shock and sometimes bother you but it will make you a more grown up adult and more powerful and skillful in the game of love.

Everything you learn in this book works for both genders. It works for ex lovers, ex fiance, ex spouses and ex partners. It works for heterosexual relationships as well as homosexual relationships.

The no contact rule is difficult to apply. It requires emotional strength and patience. It is easier to pursue and plead with your ex (no need for emotional strength or patience to call your ex every day) but as for everything in life, the path requiring patience and strength works and the easy path usually ends up to be a disaster.

Don’t worry. When you understand why no contact works, why you need to be patient and strong; it will be easier for you to have the discipline and motivation to take the right way.

Relationship Advice - Tinder date, sex and ghosting 26 Jun 2020 2:30 AM (4 years ago)

Hi, I have met a girl from Tinder and at the night of the second date, we have hooked up. After we have had sex, she told me that she has just been out from a 1.5 years relationship. She said her ex boyfriend was very abusive. She has dumped him but she still could not get over him.
Looks like she is looking for rebound relationships. It is not advisable to get very serious early with a girl like this since she has a chance to go back to her ex. You can hook up or casual relationship with her but you should not jump into a serious relationship.
I told her if a men does not respect him, he does not deserve her. She deserves better.
Nope, that is the wrong thing to say. You are basically talking bad about her ex boyfriend and basically saying, "he does not respect you but I, a nice guy, will respect you. So choose me." Slow down Romeo. This shit only works in movies. In real life, talking bad about her ex as a jerk and trying to sell yourself as a nice guy gets you to friend-zone.

Besides she has been with this jerk for 1.5 years and still thinking about him. She probably does not deserve better!

Don't forget this: Nice guys finish last.
Next day I messaged her to setup another date. But she messaged back saying: "I have given a thought and I think I am not ready for a relationship now. If she can make up her mind in a few months, she will call me back.
You probably gave a lot of relationship ready, nice guy vibe to her in these few dates. A man who is relationship ready / "nice" immediately is considered as weak man not a good catch. Why would he be jumping in relationship or behave too nice if he is a man with options.

And in Womenese, "I am not ready for a relationship" means "I am not ready for a relationship WITH YOU". She would probably keep you as Plan B, go and hook up with more men and if she does not find a new dude or go back to ex, she would call you.
I replied: "I would like to see you but I won't sit here and wait for you to call me back. Best of luck and if you change your mind, call me back."
Great answer. You clearly defined what you want, rejected to wait for her and walked away. Or at least you said you will walk away.
A week later, I could not resist the urge and I called her.
WRONG! Very wrong. You said something but your words and behavior are not congruent. This will show you more weak. She walked away from you because you showed weak behavior and you still continue to show weakness. You should not contact her until she contacted you. That is what you do when someone walks away from you.
We met and had great time. But she still told me she is not ready for a relationship.
Have you ever thought why is she saying "I don't want a relationship." It has been only 3 dates and 1 night of sex. She is talking about a relationship. This is most probably because you either asked or gave vibes for a relationship. Too early man. A relationship request and vibe MUST always come from woman first.

You are probably scared that she will go to ex or find another man and want to cage her into a relationship. As if like she cannot escape from that cage whenever she wants. This is weak man behavior and very few women like weak guys.
I told her in the past it was difficult for me to walk away from a relationship but now I am strong and can do that easily.
Dude, you are bragging but not showing it in your actions. First of all, you just met this girl 3 times and she walked away from you. THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP HERE. Why do you even talk about relationships?

Second, you could not  even walk away from a girl who blew you off. You talk the talk not walk the walk. You should NEXT her (should not call or message her until she reaches out) not meet her and talk about your "ability" to NEXT her.
We hugged, held hands but she did not let me to kiss her.
Well you should not meet her and let her to come to you.
In the following week, we have texted each other. She always replied my messages but never sent me a message first.
Nope that is week. You tried to be her gay male text friend. Plus she is obviously not interested in you. A girl interested in a man initiates most of the contacts. You are pursuing a girl who rejected you TWICE (I dont want a relationship talk and not letting you ti kiss her).  That is extra weak. You are behaving like a weak and optionless loser. This may be because you are one.
I stopped messaging her a week ago. She has never sent a message. Should I message her?
NO! Do not pursue a woman if she rejects you. NEXT her. Don't call or message her. Remember, you are her Plan-B (after your weaker behavior probably Plan-D) so don't make her a priority.
Or should I wait for her to call me?
YES!  And if she calls, a big IF, call her to your place and hook up with her. Don't spend money on her. She blew you off so she does not deserve it. If she wants to meet outside tell her you are not in a mood to go out and if she changes her mind she can give you a call.

Do not start to be her gay male text girlfriend again. She comes to your place or you are busy to message her. If you politely cut a few messages short, she will either stop messaging you or come to your place.

Which set of Singapore Covid-19 numbers should we pay attention to? 30 Apr 2020 7:04 PM (4 years ago)

Singapore is dealing with a lot of covid 19 / coronavirus related numbers these days as the number of new cases total is increasing. Most are coming from the dorms some are  coming from community cases. Senior health correspondent Salma Khalik outlines the various sets of Covid-19 numbers, and gives her take on what data the public should pay attention to.

Salma Khalik says the more important data is the number of cases in the community which gives a better idea of how Singapore is doing in our fight against the virus and how circuit breaker measures are working.

"We are getting lots of different figures and the overall figure is quite scary but it does not reflect the circuit breaker measures because a lot of these cases are in foreign worker dormitories" says Salma Khalik.

"If you want to know whether the circuit breaker measures are working then you really need to look at the cases in the community whether they are Singaporeans and PRs or whether they are also
employment pass workers who are living in the community."

But if we focus on just the number of community cases, do we risk not getting a fuller more comprehensive picture of our fight against the virus?

"Actually all the figures are important. It depends very much on what you want to extract from those figures. So overall figures are very important, number of people in hospitals is very important, number of people in intensive care is equally important. So it depends very much on what information you want to extract.

My point is if you're looking at whether the circuit breaker measures are working then you should concentrate on the community cases. But if you're looking at whether it's time to ease the circuit breaker measures then you have to look at all the cases because even the dormitory workers when the circuit breaker measures ease will be coming out into the community to work.

So at different points along this continuum you need to look at different figures and they tell you different things.

Right now somewhat on that note the escalating number of dormitory infections has been a cause of concern for several weeks. Now even though the numbers are high, workers in the dorms are now isolated from the rest of the population."

You wrote that the high numbers are due to Singapore's aggressive and strategic testing. What would be the best way to describe the current situation in the dorms?

"Quite bad. Actually there are good points at bad points. A lot of people will say there's nothing good about people getting sick. But in this case, a lot of the foreign workers are younger and healthier people. They had already moved out the older foreign workers to protect them.

Among the younger workers as of yesterday not a single one of the thousands of workers who have got covid 19 have needed intensive care. So that's very good news because they're getting it mildly and a lot of these people who were identified covid 19 patients actually were not even sick or had such mild symptoms. But because we are now testing a lot of them, people who are in contact with those who have been diagnosed, we are finding them. If we didn't do that we wouldn't have found them.

Moving away from the dorms the health ministry now splits the non-dormitory cases into two categories; Singaporeans / permanent residents / foreigners on an employment pass holders in one
category and foreign worker permit holders not living in dormitories in the other. How is this splitting of the information useful?

"Actually i asked the ministers that at yesterday's press conference and health minister explained that the reason they did the split was because they wanted to find it easier to trace the epidemiological root of the virus. In other words he says because these two groups have fairly distinct characteristics.
Locals as well as foreigners here with families are more likely to get the virus as well as spread the
virus to family members whereas the foreign workers who are living in shop houses or in dormitories with their fellow workers the likelihood is they may get it at work. Because some of these are still in essential services and they are working. A lot of them are construction workers so this really helps the government identify and track the cases.

But they've been very open i mean they've given us those numbers so it's up to us if we want to add them which i think should be done to give a real picture for the community."

When will covid 19 end in Singapore? 30 Apr 2020 6:44 PM (4 years ago)

When will covid 19 end in Singapore? When will circuit breaker end in Singapore? These are the questions everyone is asking nowadays. The end of circuit breaker depends on the trajectory of the coronavirus cases and the respond of experts and policy makers but some data driven studies can give estimates about the end of covid 19 in Singapore.

Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) provides model-based and data-driven predictions of the trajectories and end dates of COVID-19 in different countries and has been continually updating the predictions daily with the latest data. For each country, a figure is provided to visualize the estimated pandemic life cycle together with actual data to date, which further reveals the predicted inflection point and ending phase.

Only predictions with satisfactory model-data fits and statistical significance are reported. The prediction was started purely for self-curiosity regarding when COVID 19 might end in Singapore where we live and then has been expanded to cover other countries in response to requests of site visitors.

The site has unexpectedly received millions of visitors from all over the world.

According to the model, the covid 19 is estimated to end in Singapore by May 12 with 97% confidence and by May 20th with 99% confidence.

When will covid 19 end in Singapore? When will circuit breaker end in Singapore?

Lee Chong Wei sex video scandal 13 Feb 2018 10:12 PM (7 years ago)

A sex video allegedly showing Malaysian professional badminton player Lee Chong Wei went viral but the three-time Olympic medalist has denied claims of him being in a supposed sex tape :

“It is not me.

“This is ridiculous, take one look at the video and you know it’s not me,” he was quoted in a response to the New Straits Times.“Initially I just wanted to ignore because it is just a waste of time. However it is getting out of hand and I will be lodging a police report at Bukit Aman today,” Lee was quoted saying.

You can watch the video for details.

Not amused by the video, Chong Wei has lodged a police report to clear his name yesterday. "My movie is coming out and this is some of the ways that some people are trying to bring my name into disrepute," said Chong Wei, who is married to Wong Mew Choo.

Born in Bagan Serai, Perak into a Malaysian Chinese family, Lee Chong Wei is triple silver medalist at the Olympic Games, and the sixth Malaysian to win an Olympic medal. As a singles player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 199 consecutive weeks from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012. He is the fourth Malaysian player after Rashid Sidek, Roslin Hashim and Wong Choong Hann to achieve such a ranking (since official rankings were first kept in the 1980s), and is the only Malaysian shuttler to hold the number one ranking for more than a year.

Eden Ang sexual harassment allegations 11 Feb 2018 8:21 PM (7 years ago)

31-year-old Singapore YouTube star Eden Ang from JianHao Tan, Night Owl Cinematics, and Wah!Banana has been accused of sexually harrasing an 18 years old girl by a Facebook user named Kuroe Kun. According to the Facebook post, 18 years old was a friend of Kuroe Kun and had been hired for Eden Ang’s YouTube channel. During the course of their work together, she was inappropriately touched by the actor, claimed Kuroe Kun. At one point, the friend complied to Ang’s alleged demands for her to strip to her lingerie out of fear.

Kuroe Kun also alleged that the police who handled the girls’ report of sexual harassment weren’t tactful and blamed the victim for bringing it upon herself. The post was later removed.

When it all blew up on social media, Eden Ang took to Facebook to respond. He said :

Thank you to all my family, friends, and fans who have notified me about the recent malicious allegations regarding me on Facebook. I am aware of this and I have made a police report. As always I put full faith and trust in the Singapore Police Force and the Singaporean legal system. I am fully cooperating with the authorities on the investigation of this case. Thank you to those who continue to support me and I pray these allegations come to past quickly.

After this, YouTuber and influencer Dee Kosh released a 20 minutes video where he alleged tha he actually knew the details of Ang’s alleged sexual misconduct. According to him, Ang and 18 years old met in a boxing match. She took a video of Ang and posted it on Instagram. Ang replied to her on Instagram and they started chatting. Later Ang hired her as  his personal assistant.

Sometime later in a text exchange, Ang seemingly controlled the way she dressed. He asked her to “cover up” on one day and “dress different” on another. When she said she’d prefer to dress professionally on both days, Ang replied: “Good girls listen to daddy. You should call me that actually”. Further down the text message exchange, she told him “don’t touch me”. He replied “you wish mei mei (“little sister” in Mandarin)”.

The serious allegation is that Ang touched her ass :

Jumping forward in time, Ang messaged her to wear a “cute G”, for some reason. A G-string.
When she refused, Ang told her to listen to “daddy” and show her best asset. Later on, the girl was (allegedly) told to take off her pants, and Ang (allegedly) smacked her ass.

After this, Ang said he has been receiving death threats and is even seeking legal action against the people (Dee Kosh included, probably) who’ve continued to cast “malicious accusations”.

“I did not take advantage of anyone. I recognize that incidents like these often play out in a “he said she said” situation, but my conscience is clear and I have the records to support this. Some have pointed out that I should publicly share details to prove my position. However, I will not be sharing any further details on identity or communications out of respect for everyone’s privacy. Any further discussions can be through the authorities.”

Singapore Police Force put out its own statement regarding the case, taking issue with is the fact that the alleged victim’s friend (Kuroe Kun) made some pretty serious claims about police officers from the Clementi Police Division.

FALSE ONLINE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST POLICE OFFICER
A netizen, Kuroe Kun, posted online on 25 January 2018 that her female friend was allegedly molested. In her post, Kuroe Kun also made allegations against an Investigation Officer (IO) from Clementi Police Division. These are serious allegations against the IO, and we have looked into it. We wish to clarify that the allegations are unfounded and false. The IO carried out his duty professionally when he attended to the female friend. The IO did not make any insensitive remarks, contrary to what has been alleged by Kuroe Kun. Neither did the IO turn Kuroe Kun's female friend away. Rather, the female friend informed the IO of her own accord that she needed time to consider about lodging a police report.
Following Kuroe Kun's online post, the Police have requested Kuroe Kun's female friend to come forward to lodge a report. However, she has not been forthcoming in her accounts to the Police and has yet to make a police report, despite our continual efforts to reach out to her.
The Police take a very serious view of all complaints or allegations made against our officers. Such complaints will be thoroughly investigated and if substantiated, the Police will not hesitate to take action against any errant officer. However, we also cannot condone malicious allegations against the Police. If the allegations are found to be false and made maliciously, appropriate action in accordance with the law will be taken.
The Police urge members of the public to post information online responsibly. We also urge the public not to speculate or spread unsubstantiated information.
The alleged victim later came out with a mumbo jumbo tone of #MeToo movement :

Hey everyone. My name is Lilith, and I am the victim in the Eden Ang scandal that is currently going on. I haven’t said anything so far because i’ve been scared. no, terrified by what speaking up would mean..for my safety, for my dignity, for my family and for my friends. But enough is enough.
It has recently come to light that there had been some discrepancies in the post that my friend had put out. I am here to set the record straight. Everything she said about Eden is true. He did touch me after me repeatedly telling him no, both online and offline. I will be filing a police report soon and will be unable to further comment on this issue. I encourage every girl out there who may feel the same way as i do, to please, speak out. Even if my coming out with this leads to being harassed and my safety being compromised, if I give courage to even just ONE other girl to stand up for what is right, this all be worth it. thank you for the support most of you have given me. I hope this step I take will be a step for change.
Eden Ang sexual harassment alleged victim
Ang has yet to issue a new statement regarding the issue, but he has already assured that he’ll be lawyering up and lodging a police report of his own.

Nude coffee shop waitress video featuring Jaenae with the big boobs went viral 4 Feb 2018 11:49 PM (7 years ago)

A video of the Pattaya-based internet-famous Arisa Suwannawong a.k.a “Jaenae with the big boobs,” featured the top-heavy model wearing nothing but an apron in a video promoting Nina Coffee Shop. Thai model who posed as a nude coffee shop waitress raised an uproar on social media last week, but told Coconuts Bangkok she made the now-viral clip in a good-hearted attempt to help out the shop’s owner, who is now facing obscenity charges.

In the photos, Ming — also wearing nothing but an apron — can be seen serving coffees to male customers. Jaenae, who has more than 365,000 Facebook followers, said she she and Ming do the shoot for free — it was their idea.

If the shop was looking for attention, Jaenae’s suggestive video seems to have done the trick, with more than 1.1 million views at this point. Saucy photos of her colleague Minggomut “Ming” Kongsawas, meanwhile, were picked up by international outlets.

She claims they stopped by the coffee shop in Chonburi’s Sattahip district after a “sexy photoshoot” in Rayong and felt bad that the cafe didn’t have a lot of customers.

“I talked to the owner, and he said that no one comes to his coffee shop because it’s far from the city, so I offered to make a video and he could share it. Ming posed in the photos,” Jaenae explained.

“I wasn’t paid for this at all. I was just on my back from a photoshoot, and I was wearing sexy clothes anyway,” she said. Good Samaritans come in all shapes and sizes, folks.

Norwegian Air budget flights from London to Singapore 28 Sep 2017 10:53 PM (7 years ago)

Norwegian Air, Norwegian low-cost airline which is the third largest low-cost carrier in Europe, has launched the world's longest budget flight route from London to Singapore, which will cost £149.90 one-way (273.84 Singapore Dollars). The budget Singapore flight will be a non-stop flight between Gatwick Airport which is 47.5 km south of Central London to Singapore Changi Airport and will take 12 hours and 45 minutes.

The route was announced in April 2017 and is operating since September 28th 2017. The flight departs 10.30 a.m. from London and lands in Singapore at 6.15 a.m Singapore time.

You may think that it would be a torture to take almost 13 hours budget flight. But the London - Singapore budget flight is operated by a brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. All seats on the Dreamliner have personal 11-inch seat-back screens and USB ports.

Fun N Laughter (City Square Mall) Indoor Playground 25 Sep 2017 1:31 AM (7 years ago)

My 4.5 years old daughter loves Indoor Playgrounds. I love them to because if you find a clean and safe one, you can leave your kid inside and go out or even if you are inside you can just stay in a corner and enjoy your mobile phone.

The one I go most (actually nowadays almost entirely) is Fun N Laughter at City Square Mall. This Singapore Indoor Playground focuses on active play and I find their play area very friendly even for young kids. Somehow I have a feeling that they can also keep the area clean because one of my biggest problem with an indoor playground is that my kid could get pretty regularly sick after each playground visit.

The playground design is quite impressive because unlike some other places, there is almost no area in Fun N Laughter where you need to be around your kid for his / her safety or to help to climb up. But if you want to follow up your young kid, the active play area is high enough for an adult to easily follow his / her kid without bending. In some indoor playgrounds, these areas require you to bend down and it becomes very tiring for a parent to follow up after some time.

The slides in the indoor park are great fun for kids. They are tall and long and very fun to slide. Some other facilities in the indoor playground are :

- a toddler play area with interactive projector games
- a toddler ball pit
- a big ball pit for older kids
- two air blasters and a target board for the blasters
- a nice nursing room with diaper-changing facility and water dispenser

The staff in the playground are also very friendly and helpful.

Photo from http://bpdgtravels.blogspot.com
Admission rate is around 23 SGD for two hours and 28 SGD for unlimited access in peak days (weekends and public holidays). I have a 10 admission package which makes unlimited access any time only around 20 SGD.

The Fun N Laughter is at City Square Mall #B2-32, 180 Kitchener Road, Singapore 208539. City Square Mall is just at one of the exits of Farrer Park MRT Station (there is a direct connection into the mall). If you drive, the facility is just outside the carpark door.

Sofra Turkish Cafe & Restaurant 16 Aug 2017 3:56 AM (7 years ago)

I like to eat Turkish food frequently and there are a few Turkish restaurants in Singapore I visit regularly. The one I most frequent is Sofra Turkish Cafe & Restaurant. In my opinion, Sofra is the best Turkish restaurant in Singapore with its rich menu, attentive staff and management as well as the prices. This Beach Road Turkish restaurant has been around more than 12 years and is, I think, one of the most popular Turkish restaurants in Singapore. If you are looking for Turkish halal food in Singapore, this one is a must visit.

Sofra's specialities include Eggplant Kebap, Iskender Kebap, Jumbo Kebab Combo, Red Lentil Soup, Salad Plate, Sofra Yaprak Tavuk, The Chef. Everyday, they have a special set menu. They have (currently) below special dish schedule :

Monday       Lahmacun + Ayran or Şalgam
Tuesday       Tantuni + Ayran or Şalgam
Wednesday  Tandir Kebab
Thursday      Lahmacun + Ayran or Şalgam
Friday           Etli Nohut + Pilav
Saturday       İzmir Köfte + Pilav
Sunday          Çiğ Köfte  + Ayran or Şalgam

Sofra has really good cooks. Each dish is quite delicious and reasonably priced. It is very obvious that they use quality ingredients, especially very good quality beef in the restaurant. One surprising thing is that the taste is quite similar to what you would get in Istanbul, Turkey.

Other than food, they have a special corner from where you can buy Turkish food supplies such as Turkish cheese, Turkish Olive Oil, Turkish deserts, nuts and so on.

Sofra Turkish Restaurant in Singapore
Sofra Turkish Cafe & Restaurant is around for more than a decade and is one of the best Turkish halal restaurants in Singapore
Softa Turkish Restaurant is located at 100 Beach Road, #02-42/44, Shaw Tower, Shaw Leisure Gallery, 189702. You can call +65 62911433 for reservation.

Train to Chiang Mai from Bangkok 21 Jun 2017 2:49 AM (7 years ago)

Northern Thailand city of Chiang Mai is the 5th biggest city in Thailand. The city is remarkable greener and calmer than Bangkok and is one of the important culture and art center in Thailand. The city was once very difficult to access so this isolation created a very unique and interesting culture which can be seen in the city even today.

You can take a flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai (700 km distance) or take a bus but the most popular ways to travel between Bangkok and Chiang Mai is by train. You can buy your train tickets in Hua Lamphong train station ( beware of scammers who will try to direct you to some bogus ticket offices).

Getting from Chiang Mai train station to city center takes less than 10 minutes ride. There are at least 6 trains from Bangkok to Chiang Mai from 08:30 AM till 10:00 PM in the night. The journey takes 1w to 15 hours and a first class sleeper on the train costs 1,700 Thai Baht. The train is a very popular way to travel between Chiang Mai and Bangkok so if you are planning to take the train, book in advance.

There are 1st class sleepers, air-conditioned 2nd class sleepers, non-air conditioned 2nd class sleepers, 2nd class seats and 3rd class seats options on Chiang Mai - Bangkok trains. 1st class sleepers have 2 berths and your ticket will buy one bed so you will travel with strangers. You can have sole occupancy of a 2-berth sleeper for an extra 500 baht (£10 or $16). The most popular class is air-conditioned 2nd class sleeper.

The best would be getting a night train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in a first class sleeper and spend the night on the road. This will save you hotel money and effectively it will be less tiring and time consuming than taking flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Even if you want to see the Thailand country side, night train like this is still a very good option. The last one third of the train ride will be in the daylight and you will have a chance to watch the sunrise from the Chiang Mai train in the morning. The scenery in this section is in the mountains and is particularly good.

Train to Chiang Mai from Bangkok
Chiang Mai train offers a fantastic view of Northern Thailand's hills.
We recommend you to take 9/10 trains because the night travel will be very convenient and the new Chinese-built high-quality sleepers on trains at these hours are excellent. These new trains feature seat- mounted screens for watching TV and movies during your journey and aircraft -type toilets, not the old kind that drop straight onto the tracks. If you cannot find a ticket on this ultra popular trains, 13/14 is the second-best sleeper train using the next most modern cars. This train still passes the best scenery near Chiang Mai in daylight.

First class sleeping compartment in new Thailand trains. These trains serve the Bangkok - Chiang Mai services at 9 & 10. Photo - Bangkok Post

10 Reasons to Travel to Vietnam 20 Jun 2017 9:23 PM (7 years ago)

Everyone who loves to explore should put Vietnam in the first place in their travel program. Vietnam is really an authentic country, with impressive landscapes, colorful and dynamic cities, warm and gentle people, and a good blend of old and new.

1. Vietnam is relatively unspoiled by tourism

After hundreds of years of struggle, under the invasion of foreign states and lived in poverty, Vietnam, today opened its doors to foreigners, tourists and investors, welcoming them with a glamorous face and hospitality.

Vietnam is a new country in terms of tourism. Unlike Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, you will see smaller number of tourists walking around the streets. Vietnam is not as spoiled as the countries with more tourists. Local people are genuinely interested in tourists. They want to chat to you with their little English.

2. Vietnam is safe

Vietnam is a pretty safe country to visit even for women traveling alone. Actually, I can say from my own perspective that I have not felt unsafe anywhere in South Asia. Usually the countries with majority Buddhist population are safe.

Most of the Vietnamese were farmers and most of them were born in the villages. The communist government seems to have done its utmost to make the premise a safe place. Considering the recent history of the country, there is a warm attitude to many tourists, especially Americans. They will wrap up the pain of the past, look into the future.

3. Vietnam is relatively cheap to travel

Vietnam, offering super luxurious travel comfort, offers the possibility to travel with a very low budget. It is possible to eat for 1 Dollar at a stall on the street, and even if you go to super luxurious restaurants, the prices are still reasonable.

It is possible to travel in Vietnam, a favorite country for backpack travelers, with a daily budget of $ 15. Almost everywhere in the country there are convenient hotels, guest houses and hostels. For example, the 4-star Sunway Hotel Hanoi in Hanoi costs $ 49 per night for 2 people.

4. Ha Long Bay

Imagine over 2,000 limestone cliffs rising from the emerald waters of Tonkin Gulf to the sky! This is Halong Bay, Vietnam's most popular tourist destination in the world. According to the, Vietnam remains in a difficult situation with the Chinese, and the gods send a dragon for help. This dragon spouts jade and jewels from its mouth and forms the limestone rocks that we see today, and through these obstacles the Chinese can not enter.

Cruise ship experience among these interesting limestone cliffs is a unique experience. Halong Bay is beautiful and charming and this place is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is located 4 hours from Hanoi, the beautiful capital city in the north of the country.

5. Unique Vietnam Culture

Vietnam has one of the oldest cultural heritage in South East Asia. History of Vietnam goes back to the Bronze Age, and the area was more than 1,000 years in Chinese domination. Therefore, the influence of Chinese culture on the culture of the country is great.

Following the independence from China, Vietnam was under the influence of the Khmer empire for a while. In the French colonial period, European culture interacted. In Vietnam, where the Latin alphabet is used, the values of old, atelier, social and family values, handicrafts and labor are of great importance. Also in this exotic culture of Far East, where we are a stranger, dragons and turtles have an important place. In addition, the bamboo plant and lotus flower are considered sacred.

6. Vietnamese people are warm and friendly

Like many neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, Vietnamese people are friendly, gentle and friendly. When you look at your eyes, a smile appears in their faces, they are very elegant and sweet. I have not encountered anyone who is trying to attract people and to sell something in shopping places and markets. The same is true when you walk around the historic district of Hanoi's tradesmen. Everyone is busy engaging in performing arts and taking care of incoming customers.

When visiting historical sites and temples, everyone respects and respects the rules without loud noise. You can easily start chatting with whatever you want in almost everywhere. The farmers living around the Mekong Delta are very impressive with their productivity and hard work. It's also amazing to play crafts and instruments.

7. Mekong

The Mekong River is a river that is the lifeblood of Southeast Asia with a length of about 4350 km. The adventure of a dive starts from Tibet in the eastern Himalayan Mountains at an altitude of 5,224 meters and flows into the South China Sea beyond 6 Southeast Asian countries like Yunnan (China), Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

The Mekong Delta, which the Mekong River meets with the sea on Vietnam soil, makes this geographical region of more than 7 million people unique. With white sandy beaches, tropical forests, small villages and towns scattered among the waterfalls, this is a very interesting and rich geography.

8.Vietnamese Coffee

If you're a coffee lover like me, I'm sure you'll love Vietnam's coffee culture. Vietnam is the second largest coffee producer in the world, though not very well known. So it has an important place in the culture of the country. Although I usually drink milk and sugar, I prefer the simple one (ca phe den).

It is possible to have delicious coffee and sit in a tree shade or park even on street benches. Try the ice-cold cup. Take care of the addresses Café Mai (79 Le Van Huu, Hanoi) or Highland Coffee (26 Le Loi, Ho Chi Minh City).

9. Extraordinary caves

I like caves, and in every country I go, I like to visit immediately when I hear that you are a cave. Vietnam is one of the largest and most impressive caves in the world. Think of a geography, you are discovering the world's greatest cave more recently. This is Vietnam. Sơn Đong Cave was discovered in 2009 yet.

After Phong Nha Cave, 44.5 km long, which is the other famous cave of the country, Sơn Đong Cave was located in the world press. The width of some rooms of Sơn Đòng Cave is 5 km. Imagine how many airplanes you can imagine! Those who go to Ha Long Bay know the beauty of Surprise Cave cave.

10. Vietnamese cuisine and tropical fruits

Whether you like to eat fruit or not, Everybody gets to know the tropical fruits that make a different sensation other than a taste that is known before. This is my testimony. Mangosten, dragon fruit, rambutan are my favorites.

Today it is possible to see Vietnamese restaurants in many cities of the world. The development of the culinary culture and the diversity of delicacies. Seafood, chicken and meat have an important place in the Vietnamese cuisine where fresh vegetables are often used. If you love Hele seafood, South East Asia is already in heaven itself! Although we are very conservative in taste, coming to taste without local tastes makes the trip incomplete. At least enjoy a Pho soup.

Patio Pacific Resort Boracay Island 19 Jun 2017 8:04 AM (7 years ago)

Boracay Island is one of the world's and South East Asia's most beautiful and famous islands. White Beach in Boracay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and its stunning 4 kms of whiteness is absolutely gorgeous. This beach is also one of the most happening places on the island with most of the colorful Boracay night life, entertainment, boat tours, sports activities and shopping opportunities are here.

Patio Pacific Resort is located on Station 1, the most vibrant and popular area of White Beach. Opened in 1990, the Patio Pacific started with only 8 rooms and was called the Pink Patio then. Although it does not have a sea view, it now has 65 rooms, but it has a very good location only a 1-2 minute walk to White Beach.

Resort has the Ecology and Economy Specialist Award from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Tourism. The hotel has three floors, deluxe, premiere deluxe, family rooms and suites.

Spacious and all-inclusive, Patio Pacific Resort rooms feature wifi, cable television, mini bar, complimentary tea and coffee, water, table, coffee table and comfortable bed. The Deluxe rooms overlook the Garden Cafe, which is open all day and overlooks the Garden Cafe, which is located in the hotel's own garden, while the other rooms overlook the pool where hotel guests are free to use. Deluxe rooms have a double bed and a sofa that can turn into a bed. Premier Deluxe rooms have the same bed option plus bathtub.

Patio Pacific Resort offers guests a buffet breakfast. There is plenty of choice in the buffet breakfast, where you can also enjoy the Philippine breakfast. Refreshed breakfast in the Garden Cafe or in the hotel garden is included in room rates starting from 4000 pesos with taxes.

There is a small bar next to the hotel's pool and a climbing wall where guests can use again free of charge. There are a lot of tropical plants and flowers in the garden, and the ambiance that I created reminds me of Bali. A carefully crafted camellia in this garden is intended for romantic couples.

The pool is huge enough, but there may be a problem with the number of sunbeds. Lovely pool with scrumptious sea and fine sandy beach whatever you do! But maybe some people like it from the pool.
