Quick trip to market, picking up the veggies midway to weekend, the festivities pushed weekend purchases to midweek as many were out of station celebratign holi....

 

The vegetables need cleaning and cutting before they can be used for cooking, the trends of less time at home pushing veggie sellers to remain creative and sell convenience than content….

 

Spices are integral part of the taste buddies, the roadside spice sellers setup their carts and offer spices from different parts of the country, this one we picked sittign outside KR market and have good variety from different regions....

Selling flowers on late noon sitting under the shade, the sales are moderate so is the grid for money, few lives tell us story of simple yet occupied life when you moderate your expectations and garnet your needs to bare minimum….

City is always a reflection of the people and cultures, with modernization and earning potential many choose to move to nearest city from rural areas but maintain their attire and attitude. this cultural blend is unique and provides greater insight into 'unity in diversity'

Local shops in the market get lot many products delivered via entrepreneurs who run their own small distribution of multiple brands. They leverage their time and optimize the use of personal vehicles to make it work. The spirit that runs most of the Indian unorganized sector!

Seasonal colurs are out, entire city is wearing vibrant colurs of tabebuia. These trees are magical as they shed all leaves and bear only flowers, what a great welcome of the summer....
