Madrid - Neymar menyelamatkan Barcelona dari kekalahan atas Atletico Madrid di laga leg I Piala Super Spanyol. Gol yang lahir lewat sundulan kepala itu adalah yang pertama dari Neymar untuk Barca di laga kompetitif.

Di Vicente Calderon, Kamis (22/8/2013) dinihari WIB, Barca harus tertinggal lebih dulu melalui gol mantan pemainnya sendiri, David Villa, di paruh pertama laga.

Neymar kemudian masuk menggantikan Pedro Rodriguez di menit ke-59. Tujuh menit kemudian, pemain Brasil yang direkrut Barca musim panas ini tersebut berhasil mencetak gol dengan sundulan kepalanya.

"Jika ada yang bilang bagaimana ia akan mencetak gol pertamanya di dalam pertandingan resmi, kami takkan menduga itu lahir dari sebuah sundulan," kata Direktur Olahraga Barca Andoni Zubizarreta.

"Neymar adalah seorang pemain dengan kualitas bagus dan kami akan memberinya waktu untuk beradaptasi," lanjutnya dalam wawancara dengan TVE yang dilansir Reuters.

Gol yang bikin skor jadi 1-1 itu dibuat Neymar setelah meneruskan umpan silang dari Dani Alves. Lolos dari kawalan lawan di tiang jauh, pemain berusia 21 tahun itu sukses mengirim bola ke dalam gawang lawan dan menghindarkan Barca dari kekalahan.

Satu nama baru kini dikait-kaitkan dengan Liverpool di bursa transfer. Adalah striker Atletico Madrid, Diego Costa, diisukan tengah didekati oleh klub asal Merseyside tersebut.

Telegraph, Guardian, dan BBC lah yang pertama kali memberitakan rumor tersebut. Nama yang boleh dibilang mengejutkan karena sebelumnya Liverpool tak pernah dihubung-hubungkan dengan Costa dan Atletico Madrid pun tak pernah diisukan akan menjualnya.

Namun dalam klausul kontrak Costa, terdapat buy out clause senilai 21,8 juta poundsterling yang bila dipenuhi mau tak mau Los Cholchoneros harus melepas pemain internasional Brasil itu.

Jumlah tersebut diperkirakan tak sulit dipenuhi Liverpool yang memang tengah mencari amunisi baru demi memperkuat skuatnya musim depan. Sebagai catatan, Costa diincar bukan sebagai pengganti Luis Suarez melainkan untuk diduetkan dengan striker Uruguay tersebut.

Atletico sendiri baru saja kehilangan Radamel Falcao yang dilepas dengan banderol 50 juta euro ke AS Monaco. Meski sudah membantah kabar soal penjualan Costa tersebut, tapi Atletico kini sudah punya sekitar lima striker dalam diri David Villa, Adrian Lopez, Koke, Leo Baptistao, dan Costa sendiri.

Bukan tak mungkin Atletico akan melepasnya jika tawaran Liverpool memang cocok plus faktor si pemain termasuk figur kontroversial dan punya temperamen tinggi.

Meski demikian Costa adalah salah satu kunci sukses Atletico musim lalu dengan total 20 gol dari 44 laga di seluruh kompetisi. Selama tiga musim bermain di La Liga, total 26 gol dibuatnya dari 122 total tembakan dengan rasio 21,3 persen.

Musim lalu rata-rata rasio konversi tembakan menjadi gol di Premier League adalah 10 persen dan Suarez sendiri punya rasio 12,2 persen. Kedatangan Costa nantinya boleh jadi akan kian mempertajam lini depan 'Si Merah'.

Valencia - Isu seputar kepindahan Gareth Bale ke Real Madrid juga dikomentari oleh calon pemain baru Tottenham Hotspur, Roberto Soldado, yang menilai sulit bagi The Lilywhites mencegah Bale hengkang.

Saga transfer Bale memang belum usai hingga saat ini di mana kubu Madrid masih ngotot untuk mendatangkan pemain internasional Wales itu. Namun Spurs masih bersikukuh mempertahankan dan dikabarkan hanya mau melepas di angka 100 juta euro.

Jumlah tersebut dikabarkan mampu dipenuhi oleh Madrid dan ini pula yang membuat Spurs ketar-ketir mengingat si pemain tampaknya memang sudah ngebet bergabung ke Santiago Bernabeu.

Soldado sendiri adalah calon rekan Bale di Spurs musim depan Valencia setuju melepasnya ke klub asal London Utara itu. Soldado menjawab pertanyaan soal Bale ketika sejumlah media lokal menemuinya di bandara Valencia, di mana ia akan terbang ke London untuk merampungkan kepindahannya.

Menurut striker 28 tahun itu, Spurs akan punya pekerjaan berat untuk bisa memagari pemainnya meskipun Soldado mengharapkan agar Bale tetap bertahan di White Hart Lane.

"Saya pikir semua orang tahu soal Gareth Bale. Dia adalah pemain hebat. Akan sangat sulit untuk mempertahankannya tapi saya berharap dia tetap di Tottenham," ujar Soldado seperti dilansir Sky Sports.
