strolling back across the cliff tops to our starting place. Another
group headed directly back to the Marina, stopping at different cafes on
our return.
A huge thank you for everyone who turned
up and made this such a special occasion. We were very lucky to be
joined on the walk by Gabriella, Hélène and Clément from France, and Philippe from Belgium with their dogs. Thank you so much!

Basil & Michael on our Fox Terrier Fun Walk, April 2010 |
Our dear old Fox Terrier pal Basil is raising funds for the
DogsTrust.
Accompanied by his owner Michael, Basil will be walking an almost 200 mile coast to coast route, from the cliffs of St Bees on the Irish Sea, to the fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Sea.
As Basil is blind and 15 years old, he will only walk short distances, the rest of the time he will be carried by Michael in his customised rucksack.
The walk is scheduled to take around 16 days, passing through three National Parks and across some of the UK's best landscapes.
If you would like to help Basil reach his target of
£3,200 for the DogsTrust, please click
here to donate.
Good luck Basil!
