Wrap up: 2013 Running 31 Dec 2013 10:26 PM (11 years ago)

Average one month one race, but not monthly half marathon.

First race in 2013 with Penang Run 17km, first time in history, LLC double Leng crossed finishing line together.

First half marathon of the year, Brooks Half Marathon at Bukit Jalil area, the worst half marathon in my entire running life, worst than PBIM 2012, leg cramp when reached the last km, walk and run to the finishing but I get my first trophy in my entire running life.

Bidor Half marathon, my favourite event, always did well during Bidor half marathon despite of hilly route and started late.

First series of Penang Run 2013-2014, also first instalment of the round Penang island relay.

Seremban Half Marathon, the only 21km event that I never missed out for 6 years continuously.

Safra Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon become my new favourite event in Singapore and give up SCMS, reason simply because flag off at 5:15am and I can finished before sunrise.

Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2013, this event was postpone for 3 months due to haze issue in KL, managed to completed within my expectation time.

3rd series of Penang Run 2013-2014, came back after missed out the 2nd series, 5km uphill and heavy downpour during flag off. Run with training pace for the whole journey.

Putrajaya Night Marathon, the most windy Putrajaya night run I ever ran after the heavy rain.

adidas Kong Of The Road, back to back event after Putrajaya Night Marathon, 21km + 10km within 12hours, plan to run it as recovery run but end up with training pace.

Penang Bridge International Mrathon 2013, the long wait event for most of us, glad the event still held on the old bridge, revenged for my PBIM 2012 poor timing, good weather during the race help me to achieved my half marathon PB of year 2013, although my "From 2:45 to 1:45" mission failed to achieved.

Newton Challenge KL 25km, as usual run the hilly route as closing run for year 2013. This event also mark my last event in Men Open category before step into Junior Veteran.

First series of Penang Run 2013-2014, started at Esplanade and end at Teluk Kumbar. 90% are flat route until last 2km.

I am able to run 11.89km within 1 hour, but start slow down after 14km, I know that I might not able to completed with sub 1:50 as I know that last 2km hilly route will kill me, but anyhow I still try my very best and push to my limit for last few hundred meter and secure sub 1:50 for this race

My favourite event, always did well during Bidor half marathon despite of hilly route and started late.

Run with sub 5:00 min pace for first 12km before start the hilly route, hot after 17km make me slow down my pace and completed with sub 1:50 for this race.

The worst half marathon in life, worst than PBIM 2012. Zero mileage for two weeks due to work in KL area.

My pace totally drop after 12km mark, have to run with very slow, but my legd cramp when reached the last km, have to walk and run to the finishing. Crossed the finishing with my worst timing.

But I received the first trophy in my entire running life too.
