Join us this Giving Tuesday November 27, 2018 for a celebration of giving.

Giving Tuesday, which takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Last year, more than 45,000 organizations in 98 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday. Melony is a darling junior puppy with a hazel eye and a blue eye (heterochromia).

Tell her she's a sweetheart and she will look at you in surprise, then begin wagging her tail.

Melony is a small, blond blend of many breeds, 8 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

She was surrendered by her previous owner who refused to share any background information.

We'd love to find a home for Melony where she will be dearly cherished and showered with adoration every day.

These three babies -- Barney, Bettie, and Chester -- were found in a colony of feral (undomesticated) cats and trying to survive on their own.

Thanks to exceptional foster parents, all three are thriving, their light-hearted natures emerging, and bonding well with people and other cats.

They are spayed/neutered, 3 months of age, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Barney follows you around the house and plays with shoelaces.

Bettie bats her toys around the room, watches them bounce off the walls, then pounces on them.

Chester purrs the moment you pick him up for cuddles.

Do you remember Wally, the puppy rescued from the Grand Canyon?

Wally, now socialized in a loving foster home and neutered, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA!

Wally's foster mom says that he loves snuggling even more than playing with his toys. He bonds beautifully with cats and dogs too.

Macy, 10, a tiny angel, was found abandoned on a desert road with a softball-sized chest tumor.

Veterinarians were able to remove the growth and save her life.

Macy has healed well and she's now ready to bless someone wonderful with her love.

Macy is a Yorkshire Terrier, good with other dogs, spayed, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

A gentle, affectionate home is ideal for her.

27 rescued motherless kittens and 1 puppy, so far today, need foster homes! If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person.

Jilly, pictured here, 6 weeks of age, was abandoned by her previous owner at a veterinary hospital.

Shelly, a Beagle & Toy mix puppy, 7 weeks of age, was abandoned at a fast food restaurant drive-thru.

Hailey is a radiant young girl who loves giving doggie kisses!

She is a beautiful Siberian Husky, 1 year young and spayed, housetrained, compatible with some large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Hailey is exceptionally intelligent and can escape from standard crates and pens, so an especially secure home and yard is vital for her safety.

She was surrendered by her previous owner due to her puppy-like behaviors and high-energy level in an apartment home.

Donatello eagerly seeks kindness and looks carefully to people for their acceptance.

He is a friendly boy, a Jack Russell Terrier, 4 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Donatello was at another shelter that asked for our help after he had survived a massive trauma to his body (from source unknown). He has been recovering well with us for just over a month and can now walk and jump without pain.

Patti, 10, improving daily, yearns to know what a loving home feels like.

She is a Lhasa Apso & Toy mix, good with other dogs, spayed girl, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Patti was found in an abandoned apartment in horrific condition (matted coat, extended belly, emotional distress).

She is now cleaned and groomed, eating premium foods, and her belly swelling has reduced with daily heart medication.

Snow White, a delightful and lovable young girl, asks for someone she can adore forever.

She is a stunning Siberian Husky, 2 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Snow White's previous owners moved away without her.

She is on daily medication to prevent/reduce epileptic seizures (and fortunately the medication is generally affordable and effective).

He is 4 years of age, but young at heart like a puppy, a Labrador Retriever mix, neutered boy, good with most dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Casey was at another shelter that asked for our help. He is underweight and building a bit more muscle mass and energy daily.

Celeste, 6 weeks of age, is recovering from malnutrition from a neglectful home.

The foster commitment for these three kittens is approximately 8 weeks. The foster commitments for the other 22 kittens ranges from 2 weeks to 3 months.

He is reserved with people, despite making good emotional progress since his rescue, but feels at great ease when he is around other canines.

Kade is a golden-eyed Bully puppy, 7 months of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

He and his siblings were rescued from another shelter that asked for our help due to the hardship they experienced in their previous home. Kade's siblings have been adopted already, but he needed more time to be ready for his neuter surgery, so today he is finally ready to join a forever home.

Annabell makes "happy feet" when you sit by her and praise her for being so incredibly sweet.

Annabell and her two newborn babies were rescued earlier this year. She was a good mom and raised her kittens in a loving foster home. (Her babies will be ready for adoption too in the weeks to come.)
