WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut baseball defeated New Haven, 14-7, in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup in West Haven, Conn. With the win, Southern improved to 15-9 overall and 3-1 in the NE10 while New Haven dropped to 15-8 overall and 4-5 in conference play.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Women's Outdoor Track & Field standout Celine Bozukluian was named to the Northeast-10 Conference's Faces in the Crowd for Week 1 of the 2025 season, as announced by the conference on April 2nd.

Due to the threat of inclement weather on Saturday, Apr. 5, Southern Connecticut softball's Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader against Assumption will be played on Friday, Apr. 4 at 2 p.m. As Senior Day was scheduled for the start of the game, those festivities will instead be held on Saturday, Apr. against Saint Michael's. Southern is also scheduled to face Bentley on Sunday, Apr. 6, as scheduled.
Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse will host Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday, Apr. 2 and then Franklin Pierce on Saturday, Apr. 5 with Senior Day festivities slated for the start of the game. Softball will host a pair of Northeast-10 Conference matchups on Saturday, Apr. 5 against Assumption, which is the Owls' Senior Day, as well as Bentley on Sunday, Apr. 6. SCSU Baseball plays at New Haven on Wednesday, Apr. 2 and then at Adelphi on Apr. 5-6 while men's and women's outdoor track & field compete at the UConn Dog Fight on Friday, Apr. 4.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut softball first-year Izzy Ingersoll has been named the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday, Mar. 31.
WATERBURY, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University baseball split a non-conference doubleheader at Post. The Owls lost the first game, 13-10, before bouncing back with a 13-2 win in the second game. With the split, the Owls moved to 14-9 on the season.
Brennan Staubley was 6-for-10 for the twin bill with six RBI, three doubles and three runs scored while Jack Drewry was 4-for-9 with six RBI. Chad Fedeli was also 4-for-9 with six runs scored and four RBI.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut softball team split in a doubleheader against American International to start off conference play. They lost the first game, 1-0, in 8 innings and won the second, 12-3 in 6 innings. The Owls are now 1-1 in the Northeast-10 and 12-8 overall. AIC is 2-2 in the conference and 6-8 overall.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut softball team swept non-conference opponent Molloy winning game one 7-4, and a comeback win in Game 2, 7-4. The first time these two teams met in Viera, Fla. during the Space Coast Spring Games the Owls spllit winning the first game, 16-9 and lost the second game, 9-3. The Owls improve to 11-7 and the Lions go to 8-16.
