New York jewelry designer Pamela Love recently tied the knot to her darling Matthew Nelson in what can only describe the coolest wedding on the planet. The event looks straight out of the seventies...set in a summer camp-turned-resort in Montauk. The couple blended their culture and traditions to create a unique and intimate celebration. Pamela wore a stunning off-white chiffon bohemian gown with an open lattice back, designed by Mara Hoffman with flower crowns on her head and of course jewelry by her own design. The wedding is so lovely, I'm obsessed with everything!

I want a wedding like this, simple yet wonderful. I don't need a Vera Wang wedding dress or Tifanny & Co diamond ring. All that really don't matter to me. I don't see the need of an expensive wedding, investment into building a solid relationship is wiser always~

I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend. Well my weekend was ok~ But Sunday was a day for staying in my pajamas. I took a good nap on couch. I watched cartoons, Grey's Anatomy, a couple of movies and snacked on comfort food  most of the day. I did manage to sneak out for a walk and a bite with my friend at the Taman Megah pasar malam in the evening. We had Asam Laksa at one of the stall...It was pretty good. We will be back again =).

Today is back to real life for us. It was fun acting like kid and not being responsible for a day. But there's laundry waiting to be done, tone's of photos need to be edited ArrhhHhh~ Sometimes I wish I have a personal assistant who can edit all these pictures for me...and all I need to do is just blog haha~ tomorrow is another busy day ahead. Life ain't easy!

long awaited updated (I got blog lazy). But not life lazy. It seems that the longer I am away from the blog the harder it is to come back. I am getting really lazy about blogging , I guess the 'new' has definitely worn off after blogging since June 2008. Well start from today I got to be productive.

So here's a new post. I always have a small circle of friends. It seems that as we get to know new people and settle down into friendship with them, time will take it course and wrestle us away from our comfortable zone , bringing us to meet other new people and preventing from ever seeing those old friends again.  Well that's what happened to us nowadays, you're not going to meet anyone from your command school after you've graduated.

Yet, if we make an effort to call for a meet up is always possible.  I haven't met one of my best buddy Peng in 2 years. He was always usy working and traveling. But we finally managed to meet up  recently for a quick lunch at Sushi Tei, Pavilion. And boy... It was a quick one indeed ! We can't really catch up because he's rushing off for a meeting. Even though It was a short meet , but I'm glad we did it. It's great to hear  his travelling experience in New Zealand =D.

I am looking forward to many more chit-chat session~

A big thanks to all my cyber family, friends and my family for all the birthday wishes and greetings...really appreciate much! Yeap I'm one year older~ Seriously it freaks me out knowing the fact that I'm getting older and look older each day. However, there are moments in life that make me realize that time is not slowing down for me. We're all just going to embrace the fact that time goes by at a ridiculous pace. Mostly, it scares me to think that I’m going to be 30 before I even realize it, and then (Lord, save me) 40.

The aging process is scary. To know the fact that one day my body isn’t going to work as well as it does right now is absolutely terrifying. And, yes, losing my youth and looks is a thought that I don’t even want to consider. I’m vain, okay? Have any of you played around with that app that shows you what you’re going to look like as an old woman? It’s depressing (every night I have to remind my myself to put on my skin care products).

Anyhoo, I had a terrific birthday with Reuben, Shaun and the lovely housemates.

I had a wonderful dinner with Reuben and the gang at WIP,BSC. Then he drove me  to Desa ParkCity. I was like hmm why Desa ParkCity? Then he open up the  car boot and brought out this 2 piece of paper.

Guess what? Sky lanterns!

This sky lantern can be used to make a wish on anniversary birthday, wedding party or other celebrations.

I actually wrote an essay haha~

The  next day Shaun took me out for dinner.

So we had dinner in Jarrod & Rawlins. Situated  in a converted bungalow located in the leafy and breezy surroundings of Lorong  Dungun in Damansara Heights.

Jarrod and Rawlins is more like a modern English Gastropub. serving wholesome and hearty food in a smart yet inviting environment suitable for all occasions. they sold not only sausages and other meats in their deli counter, but also prepared cooked meals using the same raw ingredients. One can select from a wide range of sausages, bacon, pork chops and other meats and request them to cook and serve the meal in their restaurant. The dish is also served with either french fries, mashed potatoes or salad on the side.

The beauty about this concept is that you can decide what and how much you’d like to consume. If you prefer variety and are not preoccupied with an expanding waist, then by all mean pick one of everything and eat as much as you like.

We ordered the Sunday roast. Both of us don't eat much, so we shared the meal together.

After dinner we had dessert in Baskin Robin, Bangsar.

I laugh my heart out when I saw the cake...Chun Lee? No they didn't spell my name wrongly. Some of the production people still called me that due to the Nokia commercial I did when I was 20years old.

It was a day of necessary tasks,  one that cannot be put off any longer. A time  where the scheduling  for the week seemed to be only pinpoint direction of ending the day with yet another brief scribble on to the list. I have so much to do recently...getting the room done is one big task =)!  I need to get it done ASAP. So I drag Reuben to shop with me. I'm glad to say I'm half way there, finally most of the things are in!

Last week I was kinda mess up... I didn't have time to even think what to wear. But there was a slight urge to make an effort for comfort cause I knew that heavy walking would be involve.  And that's when the wedges came into the wardrobe thought process. I decided to gravitate towards easy stripes for a casual meeting  and what seems to be a mountainous errand run.

Furniture SHOPPING!

I love IKEA! IKEA is like my favorite place to shop for furniture =)  What's not to love about IKEA? Cheap, functional furniture. Plus they have so many innovative ideas. Super cheap food including Swedish meatballs and frozen apple pie. YUM! This is the perfect time to shop to prep your home for the coming Hari Raya celebrations!  I could seriously spend hours here just looking at all their examples and sitting on couches and sleeping on their beds. I WANT THIS and I WANT THAT! Buy all the things!

Our stomach is playing drums after shopping. Guess it's time to munch! We went to this new stall in the curve called Mr Bean to have some  snacks. From its name, one should have guessed correctly that this place sells something related to BEANS. Yes! It’s soybean & I totally love it!

We ordered a cup of watermelon soya, cheese pancake and original bean-curd.

They have have soya bean drink that is mixed with watermelon, honey dew, papaya, carrot or celery. Tasted the watermelon one yesterday, cool and refreshing. Quite nice.

A good variety of pancake flavours are available for pick. That includes blueberry, cheese, chocolate, kaya, peanut, red bean and tuna. My favourite is their cheese pancake. For the cheese-flavour pancake, cream cheese is used instead of sliced cheese and it melts in the hot pancake. Heavenly!!

I will definitely continue to patron Mr Bean due to the healthy benefits of Soya Bean and its wonderful taste. I'm definitely trying the soya ice-cream next!

I have  to get rid of so many clothes!!! Sometimes I just wish I could just throw everything away =). Things is tough around here recently as I’m decorating my new place and I'm trying to fit everything in the wardrobe, but unfortunately I can't. So I decided to sell most of my pre-loved clothes. Well I have been talking about doing this for two years now and am just getting around to it. I did a few bazaar but there's still a lot to get rid. So here we go again! I’ll be selling all my junks for a pretty low price.You’ll be amaze with the things I’m letting go =).  FYI I will be raising fund tomorrow too~ 10% of sales will be donated to Sinthamani Home. What I Wore

Today's street style is the perfect ensemble for a quick run, a day where you don't want to think  about "what should I wear today". I paired my navy blue stripe crop top with a pair of light wash  studded shorts and my favorite  denim jacket. To elongate my legs I choose a strappy wedges to go along with my look. Wedges are perfect!!!  They give the height without the pain and they also pair perfectly with skirts, shorts and jeans.

The sun was out and shining bright today. Almost every photo was me looking into the camera with squinted eyes  and some not lovely faces. These were the only ones that turned out somewhat pleasant. So here you go another 'What I Wore' post. Yeap! It's been ages since I last update on what I wore =). Life been a lil mess up for me lately, but now I'm through with it!

What I Wore

The Bohemian look! Kinda miss this look =).  FYI the word "Bohemian" was originally used to describe the non-traditional lifestyles of people who lived  very artistic lives like writers, artists, musicians, actors etc. in European cities. It is more a way of life where they had different political and social ideas than most people and express them through 'free love, frugality, and voluntary povery' which can be seen in their dress.

Room deco process has been long and exhausting, I can't believe  that I'm actually loving it! But I decided to take a break yesterday to spend some time with the lovely friend of mine Reuben. Little did I know there's a surprise waiting for me, few days ago he talks about how awesome these macarons taste like in this chocolate shop called Pirre Ledent and then there he goes, handling over a red bag to me yesterday.

I was like omg MACARONS! It's been awhile since I last had Macarons. You guys have no idea how much this lil cuties cost. It might be KL priciest macarons, costing RM10.90 apiece. But they constitute a masterclass in creaminess, surprising flavours, audacious mixtures, enhancing aromas...and with a rigorous supervision on the selection of all ingredients of the highest quality. It's crispy on the outside, moist and creamy on the inside . Most importantly, they are not too sweet. Just the way I like it!

So guys if you're looking for good and delicious macarons, Pirre Ledent @ Jason Food Hall is definitely a good choice. Trust me you'll never regret~

Wohooo~ I'm half way there!!! I'm making progress around here...my room is almost done! Just a bit here and there and I'm ready to move in =). I was struggling this whole week with the room decorations. I need to figure out storage solutions without things looking  cluttered and also I need to find a way to make the spaces as big  as possible. These are a few images of some very inspiring room spaces that I am hoping to borrow a few ideas from. The placing of the furniture must be right, a plain curtain,  arabic carpet, hanging shelves as my workplace . Do any of you have any suggestion for a tiny room?

This is how much I love about fashion!!! Fashion speaks who you are and it’s important. Fashion it’s never dead. The way a person dresses can really affect a person self image and affect how others will treat them. Fashion gives people an identity, changes moods and influences behaviour and attitude. That’s how powerful fashion is!

2)            Who are your all-time favorite Fashion Icon/ Inspiration?

I always have a major girl crush on Alexa Chung. She have this laid-back London street chic with an indie retro twist style. She always seems to look great!

3)            What’s your Fashion style?

Well as you can see...I don’t really have a specific style, I love trying new style~

4)            What’s your Fashion must have?

A good pair of Jeans definitely!

5)            Any styling tips for everyone?

Just be who you are, less is more!

6)            The worst Fashion ‘faux pas’ (big No No) ever trending?

Crocs! First bursting into the scene as health boosting footwear, Crocs slowly crawled into our everyday lives. What was once limited to your ailing aunt to the toddlers from your neighbourhood, the footwear became the staple for almost everyone you knew. They are undeniably comfortable but also equally hideous to look at. The footwear is also aptly named since it pretty much resembles its reptilian inspiration.

7)            What about your own worst Fashion style?

Hmm probably wearing micro skirt when I was in my college years =D

8)            Now, Why Are You The One To Watch?

Why I’m the one to watch? Cause I’m worth watching!! Haha I’m just joking...but I Just stumbled upon this competition while reading the IFB newsletter , gave it a quick look even if I don't usually enter competitions. This one though caught my attention because it's about creating a moodboard with Guess products. Being the fashionista that I am, I do love creating moodboard prior to styling myself or doing my reference on what to buy this season and that's why I thought of entered the competition.

I'm sure everyone of you have at least one stripe top in your closet.  Well stripes will never go out of fashion, It's always fashionable...and one of the fashion must have is definitely a stripe blazer. Nevertheless a piece of stripe blazer like  navy blue white striped blazer and black white striped blazer definitely can make your day different. These garments look sophisticated, impact as well as trendy. It really depends on how you wear them and what kind of fashion accessories you used for complimenting these garments.

I ABSOLUTELY love this lip balm!  The balm smells wonderful and does not have a waxy texture. It feel very slick, buttery and it glides across dry lips and drenches my lip with moisture and it really does last for a long time, which is important for me because I hate constantly reapply my lip balm. I've been using this for a week and I really love  the way it keeps my lips conditioned and soft. I always apply and blot with a tissue to remove excess or I just apply well before applying my lipstick and let it sink in.

This lip balm itself contains a lot of natural ingredients. It is infused with coconut oil, olive fruit oil, sunflower seed oil, sunflower seed wax, avocado oil, vegetable oil, beeswax, sclerocarya birrea seed oil, soybean glycerides, cocoa seed butter, kokum seed butter, shea butter, shea butter unsaponifiables, cymbopogon martini oil, orange oil, clary oil, tocopherol, balsam peru oil, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, anise fruit/seed oil, cananga odorata flower oil, soybean oil, citric acid, geraniol, linalool, benzyl benzoate.

I always love earth tones and neutral color, but you have to becareful about how you wear them. One way to wear them is to rock the same color from head to toe. Wondering how to make this look work? Create depth with variations of the same color in different shades. everything in today 's outfit is somewhere between brown and dusty pink. This earth tones offer an interesting play on color that is easy on the eye, but not boring.

Here's a new top I bought recently from Gallo.  I really love the vibrant color of this top . It's electric blue, peach and fluorescent orange. The details of the sleeve is absolutely divine! I pair this top with my brown high waist shorts. If you're really into the color blocking fashion you should definitely get  it.  They have it in magenta and orange too =). Quick go check it out~

I think I slowly learn to dress more like a woman =). XO~
