I was on my way home from grocery shopping earlier, and the sun was particularly glaring to my eyes while I was sitting inside the car. Here's the moment I realize that I've never come home from work before it turned dark and if I ever catch a glimpse of the golden hour - it probably when we're on the way rushing to the gym on every Wednesday. *lol
ps. yes, I literally went to the rooftop to catch the golden hour.
Here's some lil update from yours truly...
If you are following me on my Instagram, you would've known about my whole pet allergy thing - yes, I'm allergy to pet (anything with fur) and I own two dogs. I only found out about this condition of mine last year after almost 3 months sick and 1-month visit with a specialist. Long story short, my nose now not only allergy to dust (which is common with everyone out there) but also to fur and smoke. It caused postnasal drip, all the mucus dripping from my nose to my throat, all the phlegm build up causing me have shortness of breathing and at one point, I really feel very, very difficult to breathe. The only way to "cure" it is basically to get rid of my dogs, which is something really impossible for me. Fortunately, my specialist told me there's a way - do a sinus rinse twice a day just to clean and clear up my nose and try not to stick with my dogs all day long. I'm not gonna lie that I was really sad at that time, but you know, it's something I can do while still having my dogs with me.
Things have been okay until last December where I had to clear most of my leaves and basically I just stay at home for almost a month long. This is when things getting worse and I couldn't breathe for some nights, this whole thing freaked me out. Also, knowing shortness of breath is one of the main covid19 symptoms, I just got to check with my doctor. And this literally deja vu to me, it's all over postnasal drip due to pet allergy issue again. *sigh
Unfortunately, this time sinus rinse is no longer sufficient to keep it clear. I had to take on several medications and nebulizer just like asthma patient out there. Those days when I don't go near my dogs or having anyone smoking/vaping around me, I can breathe like normal. At this point of time, I had to get nebulizer every morning at my doctor's clinic just so it can clear up that stubborn phlegm that stuck in my throat.
On the other note, I'm very, very upset knowing about the fact that I won't be able to go back KK for the upcoming Chinese New Year. It's officially one year I'm not home with my family and this homesick feeling is real. Some day, I cried myself out and prayed so hard just so I can go home and stay with my family. There are some days I wish I can just be selfish and fly home. Though I think at some point this year, I foresee myself to make such a selfish decision. Of course, I'm also very thankful for the close friends I've in KL, they made all the festive seasons so much bearable.
That's basically two major things that I've to deal with currently and I'm hoping for better days for each of us, so looking forward to the day when we can travel without worries again.
Hope everyone staying safe wherever you are and I shall try to update here more soon. x

It's Saturday and it's super gloomy outside. So I thought it would be nice to take out my laptop and start writing some updates here. The past few months have been crazy for all of us, you and I have gone through the MCO transition to CMCO and we are now at RMCO stage. Apart from being super duper busy with work since day 1 MCO, I'm actually doing just fine staying at home. Well, I'll write more about that in the next post. Let's talk about the first food delivery service that I used after the MCO period for now.
Well, this happened during the CMCO period where most of the economic sector has been opened and I had to attend some meetings at client's place.
Fun fact: I've never ordered any food outside since day 1 MCO
and I've been cooking my own meals daily. However, I figured that the best way to have my lunch at client's place would food delivery! And it's just in time that Red Penguin reached out to me and asked me if I would like to try out their food! I'm all about good food and I immediately said yes. The ordering
process is pretty easy and you can place your order at
app.theother.kitchen/redpenguinttdi :D
If you do not have a particular craving and not sure what to eat for lunch or dinner, simply check out their menu as Red Penguin offers a range of fusion flavours! You can have your briyani rice or pasta or wraps or burger,
etc.
I would say the portion of it was pretty huge! Your tummy definitely gonna be
happy with the food.
ps. I love the fact that their packaging is environmentally friendly as
they are all biodegradable!
Unlike some other restaurant, Red Penguin separated all the gravy and mashed potatoes in separate packaging. I appreciate this a lot because let's be real, food delivery going to take around 15-45 minutes and you just don't want to see your food become soggy or mushier than ever.
It was overall a good experience as they send it just in time for lunch and still following the strict SOP of contactless delivery throughout this period. I enjoyed the food so much that I've made another order to have it with my colleagues when we back in the office a few days ago! Now that restaurants and cafes are allowed to offer dine-in, I can't wait to drop by their restaurant and trying out the food freshly cooked from the kitchen soon!

What's your daily wellness routine? I'm sure there is at least one routine that caters to your own wellness, as for me, I'm just taking one step at a time. To turn something into a habit and routine can be overwhelming and you don't want to do everything at one go. It's nothing related to my morning/skincare routine or a day in my life kinda thing, it's just three simple things I'm practising daily and hopefully can continue doing it.
But first, here's something fun for everyone! One of my go-to drugstores,
Caring Pharmacy is currently having
#ShopMoreWinMore contest campaign where you will be able to stand a chance to win RM250,000 cash vouchers with every RM50 spent! These days, the perception of RM50 is considered a small amount, but hey! with a little help of great discounts in Caring Pharmacy, you probably able to get more than what you think with RM50. Of course, the more you spend, the higher the chance for you to win the cash voucher!
The fact that I actually get most of my daily essentials at Caring Pharmacy made it easier for me to join, I mean, you literally can get almost everything in there covering personal care, skincare, beauty supplement, health supplements, slimming and detox, family planning, hair care, baby care, and many more.
Shower time is a fun time, indeed! A shower is always part of our daily routine. For those who ever came to my house and entered my master bathroom would have known that I have various shower gels in the shelf. They are in various scents which I will use depending on my mood. No joke.
A friend of mine actually recommended this brand - Calme. I put it in my basket and try it the other day. It's actually really nice! This
Calme Spa Shower Gel is a pH-balanced shower gel and also comes in three variants - rose, lavender and green tea. My favourite would be the lavender, it's perfect for a relaxing shower especially after a long day at work. Also, I love good shower product that doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and dry, but soft and moist.
I used to get chia seeds from an organic shop, but now I can actually just grab this
Tresor Earthfood Chia Seeds that available in Caring Pharmacy. We all know that chia seeds are loaded with antioxidants and high in several nutrients that are important to bone health. For someone lactose intolerant like me, I'll do whatever alternative ways to consume calcium.
The fun thing about chia seeds - you can opt to eat it raw (mix with overnight oat, smoothie, etc) or simply soak it to make chia pudding or mix with your favourite drink. I personally love having it together with my lemon water - Squeeze half lemon to a bottle of water and add chia seed into it and let it soak. I learned that it's best to soak chia seeds in normal temperature water to retains its nutrients. I usually prep it first thing in the morning and have it in the office for the whole day.
If you been following this blog long enough, you should know by now that I love Kinohimitsu beauty wellness supplements, be it in the powder or liquid form, since my first encounter with the brand itself back in 2013. I'm not going to lie that it's been on and off routine back then, however, as I'm hitting the big 3-0, I've been taking the collagen and UV-bright drink every morning since this mid-year.
I love bird's nest drink and I was really skeptical about bird's nest drink like this as I've tried an awful one before. Well, knowing the brand itself, I eventually grabbed this
Kinohimitsu Snow Lotus Bird's Nest home with me. I had this after dinner and I LOVE IT! It's on sale and I probably going to grab a few more of this!
There are so much more you can do in term of wellness, but I guess doing it one step at a time, making it a routine makes a different too! I used to take my busy work schedule as an excuse until it hit me hard that work is nothing if you can't take care of yourself properly. And the great thing is, you don't really need to spend big bucks for your wellness, I mean, I got everything I needed without burning a hole in my purse and it's all available in one place - Caring Pharmacy.
Now it's really the chance for you to grab all the items whether it is for your personal care, skincare, health supplements, hair care, etc, this is the right time as you'll get to enjoy great discount as well as stand a chance to win cash vouchers worth RM250,000! The contest will run from 9 September till 3 November 2019, so hurry up!
HOW TO ENTER?
1. Shop (RM50 = 1 entry)
2. Scan QR codes and fill in your details
3. Submit!

I don't have perfect nor the best skin in the world. In fact, it's been quite a journey to achieve the skin that I'm having now. I've talked about my skin pretty often back then in this blog and most of you still ask me from time to time how I managed to
cure the crazy acne-prone skin I've had back then. I mean, who would've thought you can actually get crazy flared up acne all over your face at the age of 22 years old when you actually had ZERO pimples throughout your teenage life?! Well, it happened.
If you been a reader of this blog for the past 6-8 years, you would've seen these photos of my skin back then when I start sharing about products and also treatments I've gone through at that time.
2014, it was one of the scariest years of my life - I forced myself to learn about makeup just so I can cover all the acne and I get super insecure and uncomfortable when people actually asking what happened to my face? Little did I know, I actually made it worse as all the thick concealer and foundation clogged my pores and more acne popping up on my skin. It was terrifying at one point that I finally decided to see a dermatologist. She explained how things work and recommended me to try out Cetaphil. Well, that's how my first introduced to the brand, Cetaphil.

I've used Cetaphil cleanser back then and truly glad how it actually helped my skin towards a clearer skin journey. I stopped using it as I was tempted to try out other products and guess what? Fast forward to early this year, I went back to KK and totally forgotten to bring my toiletries bag. It was late at night and all I see in the toilet was Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar soap on the counter which my mom use it to wash her face daily. I was already prepared to have my skin breaking out the next day. To my surprise, it didn't break my skin at all and I actually ended up using it for the entire 5 days back at KK home!
I'm turning 30 this coming December and I'm still always out and about, busy with work and stuff, every single day. If there's one thing I've learned throughout my 20s, it would be - less is more. I've tried the infamous 6-7 steps skincare regime and it's great to have different products applied to your skin to cater to specific problems. However, I've also realized that it didn't really work that way, at least to my troubled skin. Even in my late 20s, I still have pimples popping on my skin, especially during my period.
Because of what had happened in the past, I take skincare seriously and never ever skip it even though I'm feeling super tired coming back from a late night out. I would still make sure to remove my makeup thoroughly, wash my face and moisturize every night. Again, less is more. I'm keeping my skincare routine simple and it's all with only Cetaphil products which I'm going to share below.
Remember I mentioned about the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar soap earlier? If you're not a fan of a soap bar, you can get Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser in liquid form like the one I'm currently using. This bottle is huge and what I love about this, you can use it for both face and body. ps. I do have some bacne aka back acne during my period and this has somehow cleared most of it.
Alright, let's go back to my skincare routine. I have a combination skin type - it's oily on my forehead and nose; it's very dry on my cheekbone, and it's normal on the rest of my face. I can no longer use an oily facial cleanser as it usually worsens the condition of my cheekbone area. With Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, I do not need to worry about any area of my face as it's actually suitable for ALL skin types! It covers dry, sensitive, oily, combination, normal, troubled skin (eczema, psoriasis). It's not going to clog your pores and because it's soap-free, it also means it won't overdry or over-cleanse the skin or strips off the skin's natural protective barrier. Also, it's fragrance-free. This is very important to people with sensitive skin like me. Let’s be real, some of us love it when our skincare product smells nice and little did we know, most of the companies putting fragrance just to cover the unpleasant smell of the certain combination of product ingredients or just simply for the sake of selling point. As for me, I learned that product with fragrance does cause inflammation to sensitive skin.
How I use it differently day and night? In the morning, I usually just use it as normal. Pump a generous amount of the product onto the palm, then massage gently onto the face and rinse it with clean water. During the night, I would first apply it onto my face directly and massage gently to melt the makeup product on my skin before proceed with wiping off excess lotion with a soft towel. After removing my makeup, I'll then wash my face with the same cleanser again.
The
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream comes in a pretty big tube too and I know it's going to last a bit longer. It has a unique formula and superior system of emollient and humectant that binds water to the skin, softening while helping to prevent moisture loss, hence giving the skin long-lasting hydration, and keeping it soft and moist. Similar to the cleanser, it's fragrance-free and suitable for all skin type too! I really can't stand scented product on my face. I love that it's non-greasy, though it is in cream texture, it's still light and absorbed almost immediately into the skin. Guess what? I somehow no longer experience skin peeling on my cheekbone area after start using this moisturizer. I used to have to apply two different types of moisturizer onto my face.
I'm not sure about you but I can never ever leave the house without sunscreen. The
Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50+ works wonderfully on my skin too. With SPF50+, it provides broad-spectrum sun protection against harmful ultraviolet rays as well as keeping skin healthy. Just like other Cetaphil products, it is also non-greasy, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and moisturizing to the skin so it's suitable for all skin type too!
I've been practising the same skincare routine for quite a while now and really loving my skin condition now. Not gonna lie that I can't control my skin during the period, but at least I know that now I am comfortable going out with just a light powder on my skin. I no longer apply foundation daily even out for work, except there's an important event to attend to. It's true that you apply less makeup product when you have good skin and makeup product lies on the skin better when your skin is properly moisturized too! :D
Now you can get your favourite Cetaphil products through Lazada and Shopee.

If there's a surprise bouquet of flower, it's most probably from the brand - Mamonde. Mamonde is well known for its floral theme and they just sent a lovely bouquet together with the new Mamonde All Stay Foundation!
If you are familiar with the Korean beauty BB/CC Cushion range, the new Mamonde All stay Foundation comes in three different shades - 21N (Ivory), 23N (Sand) and 25N (Tan). These foundations are all in slim tube packaging that can be easily mistaken to a conventional concealer packaging. The good thing is definitely how compact and definitely travel-friendly since it's lightweight too!
Before we talk about the foundation, let's talk about this Mamonde All Stay Sponge.
This beauty sponge is definitely slightly different than the other beauty sponge on the market. It has a combination of silicon and sponge puff. The silicone puff is kinda sticky and I'm not sure if I like it or not. Overall, I find this makeup sponge not as bouncy as the original beauty blender yet it's not very stiff, I kinda like how it gives the natural skin effect with this application method.
Now let's talk about the foundation - Mamonde All Stay Foundation provides a light, semi-matte coverage that is perfect for a natural makeup look and stays in place without creasing or fading unevenly. It is packed with SPF25 to protect the skin from the sun's harmful UV rays during the day which I love!
Not only that, it claimed to have a special long-lasting formula - Mamonde Instant Fitting Film formula - which fills in any pores or wrinkles on the face, leaving the skin looking soft and supple. This formula contains Mamonde's exclusive Freeze and Fix powder, which actively absorbs sebum throughout the day, keeping the skin matte and preventing makeup from fading unevenly.
Another plus point would be, the All Stay Foundation doesn't oxidize once in contact with the skin but instead gives the skin complexion a brightening effect. And that's what you need to have your skin looks as radiant as a delicate rose petal.
I personally dislike scented foundation, however, the hint of fresh rose scent in this foundation didn't bother me at all. With a combination skin type, I enjoy having such semi-matte finish on my skin as my T-zone tends to get oily over the time. I love how lightweight the foundation is, it's as if I didn't apply anything to my skin yet giving this balanced complexion look to my skin. For the coverage, I'm happy that it's not only giving the even skin tone to my skin, it also covers most of my blemishes with just two thin layers foundation applied on my skin. As it already has a semi-matte finish without any stickiness, I only apply finishing powder onto my T-zone since it will get oily over the time.

The Mamonde All Stay Foundation is priced at RM59 (20ml) and available at Mamonde Beauty Counters (Aeon 1 Utama, Aeon Mid Valley Megamall, Parkson Suria KLCC, Aeon Bukit Indah JB, Aeon Tebrau City JB, Parkson Gurney Plaze Penang and also Sephora stores at Mid Valley Megamall, 1 Utama, IOI City Mall, Komtar JB, IMAGO Shopping Mall KK, Nu Sentral KL. It also available on Lazada.com.my and Hermo.my.

My first visit to Ishin was years ago when Eric brought me there to celebrate my birthday during our early dating year. It was my second year in KL and I was truly enjoyed my dinner there. It was wonderful and everything was delicious! ❤
When Bok asked us to have dinner together, I said yes! We always wanted to go back there but it's either because of work or just the crazy traffic along the old Klang road that put us off. Thankfully it was one of those days when I can leave the office on time and we're back at Ishin!
With Bok, we get to know and tried out more dishes from the menu this time! 🙌
Tatami Iwashi (RM22), also known as the grilled baby sardine.
It's crispy, addictive, what a perfect beer snack!
I LOVE THE SASHIMI at Ishin! We ordered the Salmon Sashimi (RM38) and Chef Special Premium Sashimi (based on the market price). We truly enjoyed the fresh air-flown seafood made into this special platter - the sweet, creamy and juicy slice of heaven.
It was followed by the
Hotate Yanagawa (RM66), the simmered half shell scallop and vegetable tasted so delicious! Though it may be slightly on the higher price point, it's so worth it as it tasted really fresh and delicious!
The
Isi Ebi Cheese Yaki (RM104), cheese grilled half lobster was really good too! It's a shame that I couldn't eat more of it due to lactose intolerant. You can't go wrong with the combination of cheese and lobster!
I love unagi and I had to order some unagi dish from the menu. Bok actually recommends these two -
Malaysian Roll (RM42) and
Duck Liver with Unagi (RM125).
The Malaysian Roll, unagi and mango reverse roll was simply great! It wasn't my first time eating such combination but for some reason, this one has a perfect balance in taste and I could totally finish all by myself! On the other side, the grilled duck liver and unagi were surprisingly good too! They were perfectly grilled and the tare sauce was delicious too!
For beer lovers out there, you really have to give this
Wagyu Stone Grill (based on market price) a try when you are at Ishin! I'm not a big fan of beef but this was really good! We ended up ordered another serving of
Gyuniki Tataki to satisfy our cravings!
For dessert, just so you know that they serve good parfait in Ishin. I remember sharing one with Eric back then. We were lucky that durian was in the season and we get to enjoy the Durian Ice Cream too! The Mango Parfait (RM21) is pretty huge in portion and perfect for sharing! It's still as yummy as how it was. ❤

I'm not a very techy kinda person, but I do know what I look for in a laptop. With my current job, it's important to be able to multitask. Let's be real, even with a smartphone, we always wanted a device that we can do few things at the same time. With the new evolution in technology, we tend to have higher expectation on what's new that coming to us. All I can say is the new ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 never disappoint at all!

They can sign in effortlessly using just their face with Windows Hello, or enjoy hands-free control using Alexa's voice recognition to get more done: hear the weather, listen to music, schedule appointments and more.
WHERE TO GET THE NEW ASUS ZENBOOK PRO 15?

Bangkok, is definitely one of my favourite cities to go to and I never get bored of it. While others enjoy shopping in Bangkok, the main reason I go back there mainly to enjoy the food! What made this year trip to Bangkok even more fun was because it was the very first #ThreeGen trip ever.
Why #ThreeGen?
Because it consists of 70s, 80s and 90s in this trip.
:: HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRIP ::
As I will be writing more about each place, I thought I would just do a quick highlight summary of our trip in this post.
- TOTORO CAFE -
// 18 Soi Lak Khet (Sukhumvit Soi 29), Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
It's best to make an advance reservation if you really want to come to this cafe. They serve Thai cuisines from appetizer, mains and desserts, but we only ordered the desserts as we were still quite full from our breakfast earlier.
I kid you not, everything so delicious and it doesn't feel like you are going to a themed cafe just for the gimmick only :p
And oh, you can literally take tonnes of nice photos inside and outside of the restaurant, they are just so Instagram-worthy!
- NEON NIGHT MARKET -
I was so glad that we are able to visit my most favourite Train Market (Talad Rot Fai) and get to check out the Neon Market. We found out that it is only there for a limited time and it's so fun to find out interesting stuff in different night market there!
- CHATUCHAK WEEKEND MARKET -
As much as I hate the heat, I love checking out stores in Chatuchak and this year, I actually found tonnes of cute stuff in Chatuchak market! I think I spent quite a bit here and the only bummer was - it rained most of the time when we're there.
- MERMAID CASTLE CAFE -
I've heard SO MUCH hype about this place and it turned out one of those gimmicky themed cafes out there. Each pax have to order at least 1 item from the menu in order to go upstairs where the real mermaid cafe at. You will pass by the gift shop section and I thought the stuff they sell there were quite lovely!
The entire cafe was plain and it's a challenge to take nice photos (then I realized I actually got fooled by those fancy photos on the Internet). What's worst? The food was not good, they tasted like just the same from some normal bakery shop out there or maybe worse than some of them. Most of it tasted super artificial to us.
- THAI FOODS GALORE -
Most of my friends always ask me this question - why do you wanna go back to Bangkok when you can't even eat spicy food?! - I'm like seriously, I mean, Tom Yum is not the only food available in Bangkok! I love the pad thai, salted grilled fish, coconut water, tangerine juice, mango sticky rice, pork satay, basil pork rice, fried chicken, mango salad, omelette, etc etc etc.
Back to the trip - planning a trip for 6 pax was quite difficult and there are few factors to be taken into the consideration such as not all of us have the flexibility when it comes to applying for leave; budget; flight ticket price, etc etc. I'm so glad that we made it for this trip and already looking forward to future trips together! In fact, 4 of us booked our flight ticket through
Malindo Airlines months ago for our #DoubleTrouble annual trip together!
*Can't wait!*
ps: Did you know that Malindo Air Airlines has recently launched new routes with amazing discounts too!? Grab it before it's too late! ;)

I rarely drag myself out for brunch except for a good reason - to catch up with friends! The reason brunch out is never really an option because Eric and I cook at home, and also we prefer not to go through the road jam during the weekend. However, there are these few particular brunch spots that stuck in my head and I will find every single possible excuse just to go back there to enjoy a good brunch session!
I LOVE BREAD, especially the sourdough bread. Fat Olive has the best sourdough bread and I find myself keep on wanting to go back just to enjoy their sourdough bread. I usually order the eggs with bacon or chorizo. They have quite an extensive menu for brunch and I kid you not, all the foods that we've ordered so far were really good! The mushroom soup, sandwiches, pasta and risotto - all so yums! The serving portion at here is considerably large as most of my girlfriends couldn't finish their meal most of the time. lol. Also, you definitely can enjoy a good cuppa coffee or glass of wine during the day here too! ;)
The first visit to Raft KL (Italian style cafe) was just for a short meeting with the boss. I ordered the Pancake stuffed with Nutella and it looks pretty normal. It's definitely like a love at first sight. I was totally surprised after one bite of it and I finished it even I was already quite full at that time. It was really one of the best pancakes I've ever had so far! Although they have quite an extensive menu and as much as I wanted to try out other dishes, I kept going back just for the pancake.
It was Vivian and I first visit and we were completely in love with the foods (and coffee) here! I still remember I was sick-ish and instead of ordering the big breakfast, I ordered the Smoked Duck Porridge. The smoked duck porridge was sooooo delicious and comforting! It actually feels like I'm having some Japanese style porridge. Eric ordered the big breakfast (it was really good!) and Vivian being super fancy ordered herself the Wizards Foie Gras Brioche (we loved it but Vivian complained that it's lack of greens!). We also ordered the Truffle Fries and it's good too!
I wish I can go to any of these three places anytime but all of them are quite a distance away from me, and that's why I always find excuses to go these places whenever I can do so! :p Tell me your favorite brunch spots!

Seems like yesterday when everyone starts raving about Dinner In The Sky and now we have the Plane In The City! I mean, it's literally a plane in the city. It got me curious when I first received the email invite to the launching of the Plane In The City and I know I have to go and check it what it is all about!
What do you need to know about Plane In The City?
- Malaysia's first aircraft dining experience was launched at Skyland, Bukit Bintang.
- It is listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the FIRST Aeroplane Restaurant in Malaysia.
-The first of its kind in Malaysia and endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Plane In The City is a 90-minute experience revolving around an actual Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Passengers will get a chance-of-a-lifetime to do things such as taking a selfie while sticking their heads out of the Pilot's cockpit, walking on the wings of the aircraft, enjoying a fine-dining meal serenaded by today's hit music and many more!
- Ticket sales are now open and will be priced at RM199/pax for the Economy Class, RM399/pax for the Business Class and RM999/pax for the First Class.
Book here: www.planeinthecity.com
- Operating with 2x sessions every Tuesday to Thursday, and 3x sessions from Friday to Sunday.
Eric and I went there a week after the grand launch to experience this whole Plane In The City dining experience. As usual, you would need to go through the simple process of checking in and waiting at the departure lounge before boarding the plane. I love how they actually arrange pair by pair to enter the plane, just like how you will be treated as VIPs. Upon entering the plane, you will get to choose to either have fun in the Pilot's cockpit or go for the aircraft wing's walk experience. Don't worry as you will get to enjoy both! I thought both experiences were pretty cool, I mean, it's not normal to be able to walk on the aircraft's wings and taking your time taking your pilot-wannabe photos in the cockpit.
ps: Be sure to wear pants with sandals if you wish to do the aircraft's wing walk! ;)
You will find your name on the screen at your seat and there will be some fun flight departure announcement prior to the food serving.

Each passenger will be served with plain water and orange juice. Of course, they are refillable. Our dinner session started with bread and the German Birchwood Smoked Norwegian Salmon with cereal bread, pickled shallot, gherkin, avocado cream, and ikura. I was so in love with the appetizer and I thought the portion was just right too. It's really delicious and appetizing, perfect start of the meal indeed.
As for the main course, you'll get to choose from the fish, chicken or beef. Eric had the Roasted Cajun & Herbs Chicken and Steamed Fish for myself. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure with the combination of steamed fish with buckwheat noodle. It turned out lovely and it does tastes like your typical Chinese steamed fish with a twist. I loved it. Eric enjoyed his chicken and the duck pudding tasted so good too!
We also had the Vanilla Oreos pannacotta with berries soup and fresh berries for the sweet ending! It tasted soso good, the whole combination just perfect as they complements each other. Truth to be told, the foods served at that night did not disappoint at all. Just so you know that the food aboard aircraft is prepared by a well-known 5-star hotel, Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur.

I love myself a good sheet mask and if you open my fridge, you will find a container of sheet mask chilling in there, ready to be taken whenever I need one. One of my all-time favourite sheet masks gotta be Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask! I've been using innisfree sheet mask since forever, way before Innisfree finally opened its store in Malaysia. It is so good to my skin and it's totally affordable!
It caught me totally in surprise when the whole pack of NEW Innisfree My Real Squeeze Sheet Mask with the entire variants of it. Trust me, the first thing popped into my mind was - it's time for a mask party with the girls!
Of course, it didn't happen and that gotta blame my horrible eye infection experience that took 2 weeks to finally recover and add another week to fully recover. Fret not, that gonna happen soon!

I haven't been penning down my thoughts here for the longest time. Not because I don't want to, but I guess the work stuff really taking up most of my free time. I promise I will be writing more now! :D
Let's back to the main topic for now.
Confession to make: The new journey didn't start off smoothly, there were hiccups and there's also a moment where I decided to just quit. You see, I am never a quitter and I don't give up on stuff easily. I don't see a point to continue working with people who don't seek improvement and grow themselves. Most importantly, I don't like to deal with dramas. Thankfully, there's one person who truly believes and appreciates my ability that I decided to give it a try and take it as a challenge for myself to grow to another phase of my career. For that, I thankful for her. (you know who you are).

And yes, I did mention in
my previous post about changes that I will be working with an all-girls team and going to do the comparison with the previous all guys team with you guys too! So here it is...
- Truth to be told - I miss working with the all guys team. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy working with the girls minus the emotions? I don't deal well with emotional people because I am emotional.
- I love working with the guys because everyone is very straightforward and they don't bitch false rumours behind you. They own up their mistakes, apologise, fix it and move on.
- I am not a people pleaser and never will be. Apparently, I was kinda labelled as harsh whenever I am being straightforward. But then again, the truth is always harsh and hurtful. You have no idea when I actually told to learn to take care of other people's feeling before I have to make the confrontation. I mean, why do I need to go around the bush to tell the person for the mistake that has been done, I don't get it.
- There'll be no blaming games with the guys too. Back then, problem-solving was the priority. No crying drama or any party had to take care of another party feeling just to get things done.
- And one last thing - there're so many girls in the office and can you imagine every week is shark week for us? lol!

What did I learn after a year through this journey?
I learned a lot about management skill and it's definitely something I will be focusing more this year. From being someone who executes the work to someone who plans the strategy and leading a team, it's really no joke. It's hectic but seeing my team growing day by day, it's all worth it.
Last but not least, I learned to ignore what people talking falsely behind me. I do feel hurt but I always remember what I was told before - I can't control people's mouth, but I can control how to react to it. Some people might think that I'm just being a little too perfectionist about a small thing. What can I do? I am passionate in whatever I'm doing and I can't take people who treating it just another day job to pay the bills. Also, I can't help it as I was trained to be that way. That's why I barely miss out those little details that matter. Less mistake and better result. So, why not?
ps: I'm grateful for the friendships I've made through this journey too.

It's actually interesting that how myself being a blogger able to be one of the first to know about exciting beauty and skincare product launches. By saying that, it includes feminine wash too. And I guess, being a girl/woman, we always have more things or body parts to take care compared to the guys/men.
I don't normally talk about what's in my shower kinda topic. Just so you know that shower time is the best and my friends always ask me how can I take 30-mins to shower most of the time and they always give me that look - why do you need to have so many different types of hair and body products?
Let's start with the hair products - I would use color care hair products right after I got my hair colored and then will continue with scalp care hair products after a month. For body products - if I have to be completely honest, it really depends on my mood. When I'm feeling stressed out, I would use my favorite Sanctuary Spa body products as it infused with essential oils that will ease the stress; when I feeling sweaty and sticky, I would use my favorite Soap & Glory Sugar Crush body wash and of course start using the festive Bath & Body Works Twisted Peppermint body wash for that Christmassy scent!
ps: I still can't brain how people can finish shower within 5-minute!
Apart from all my favorite hair and body products, I also have feminine wash product in my shower too! I received this Betadine Feminine Wash Foam last month and been using this particular one since then.
I started using feminine wash since I get to know about the existence of such product and I love how more and more brands that coming out with such product too! Just so you know that an imbalance in healthy intimate flora can result in a variety of symptoms, such as itch, odor, and excessive discharge. Therefore it is important to maintain hygiene in your intimate zone. However, ordinary soap can disrupt the natural pH levels in the intimate area, and while water is safe, it is not always adequate.
The new BETADINE Feminine Wash Foam, formulated with natural ingredients in luxurious foam format, designed exclusively for feminine hygiene needs and supports your intimate area's natural pH balance. It is formulated with natural ingredients
With its unique Tri-Care™ formulation combined with prebiotics, BETADINE® Feminine Wash provides daily protection from unwanted symptoms associated with pH imbalance. It has a combination of deoplex (a natural extract that provides effective odor neutralization), immortelle (a natural antioxidant that helps improve skin’s natural moisture), syricalm (natural active ingredient that soothes the skin and reduces skin redness and irritation) and prebiotics (a prebiotic that helps stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria and prevents unfriendly organism from growing).
All you need to do is one pump and gently apply to your feminine area. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
After using it for a month plus, it feels clean and refreshing, as well as hydrating without any itchiness or discomfort throughout the day. And I love that it is suitable for daily use too!

There's a difference between having dry skin or dehydrated skin.
As for me, I have combination skin - acne-prone and dehydrated - at certain areas of my skin. It can be really frustrating sometimes. And staying up late and not getting enough sleep definitely tires the skin and it becomes more dehydrated, losing it radiant, etc.
Since I still can't find time to go for my long overdue facial treatment, I thought a quick fix for my dehydrated skin would be facial mask at home! I always make sure I apply mask at least once a week depending on my skin condition. If you came to my house before and opened the fridge, you would know I have tonnes of mask sheets and mask packs kept in there.
Well, tonight is one of those nights where I would apply either mask sheet or mask pack before going to bed. I normally prep my skin before applying the mask to ensure it can penetrate better into my skin.
I personally think that it's better to exfoliate your skin before applying any sheet mask, especially if it is in essence form. I love using this Cure exfoliating gel for the gentlest skin exfoliation. It removes dead skin and leaving skin smooth after rinse.
Neutrogena has recently launched its latest Capsule Sleeping Mask and Hydrogel Mask. They come in two different variants - Fine Fairness (brightening) and Hydro Boost (hydrating) - packed in the mini pod and sheet pack that ready for everyday use at anytime anywhere.
I always prefer hydrogel mask over paper sheet mask not only for the texture but also for the better adherence on the skin and how it fits nicely on my face. It has 50% more essence compares to normal paper mask. Also, as it's in gel form, it also means loosing less from evaporation!
Fun fact: One mask equals to one bottle of hydrating serum in 15-minute.
The new Neutrogena Hydrogel mask features cooling technology 100% made from active serum and you get to experience the instant cooling effect which good for pores too! I usually leave it on my skin for 15-20 minutes and just remove it before heading to bed.
Unlike paper mask, there's no essence residue on my skin as all the essence penetrated and absorbed perfectly into my skin. I really love how it hydrates my skin and making it supple instantly after just one-time usage. I am so looking forward trying out the capsule sleeping mask version of this Hydra Boost mask soon!
Neutrogena Hydrogel Mask available at Guardian for RM13.90/pc.
Neutrogena Capsule Sleeping Mask available at Watsons for RM12.90/pc.

Ohai! I know... I know...
I have been sort of MIA here.
Not gonna lie that workload taking over most of my time and feeling uninspired is not helping at all.
Quick update - I just got back from few trips and received a number of exciting beauty product packages - I know I have so many things to write here soon! Can't wait to talk about all the fun things again!
For now, I just wanted to pen this down here because I was totally
spooked by Sephora's recent Halloween Frenzy deal! I mean, it was by far the craziest deal I've ever encountered! And by the way, gotta thanks
ProductNation for this!
If you know me, you would know that I'm all about anything beauty related stuff - skincare and makeup. And let's be real, with my current busy schedules, it's almost impossible for me to go to the physical shop to try out those makeup products! When this happens, the next best thing would be a reliable site with curated and proper product reviews! In this case, for me would be a proper
makeup review in Malaysia!
I was looking for some promo code for Sephora because I really wanted to get my hand on a new set of makeup brushes for myself. I saw
the article on ProductNation about this Halloween Frenzy deal and quickly downloaded the Sephora app (
ps. you really should download the app if you haven't done so!) because it's only available for the app.
60% OFF DEAL. I will never forgive myself if I actually missed out this deal!
I quickly scroll on the list of products under this deal and you have no idea how excited I was to see the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set (Vol. 3) makeup brushes set in the list! That item itself already cost me RM739 and I just need to get few more things to enjoy that 60% OFF right away!
So yeah, I just get myself the essential products that I use every single day for my brows. These products in total only cost me RM361.50 after the 60% OFF! I actually saved a total of RM542.50! That's so much better than the previous 30% SALE! :p
I find it really helpful to have a reliable site like ProductNation where you can find trustworthy product reviews as well as discount codes to get the products! The best part is you don't need to worry about where to get those products as there's a "BUY NOW" button under each product listed in the articles so you can shop by clicking it!
As for me, I am paying extra attention to
makeup,
beauty and also
appliances section! I am still looking for some stuff for my home and I can read everything I need to know through ProductNation! You guys should really check it out! ;)

This is certainly an overdue travel diary post.
If you've been following me on Instagram, you would have known that I've gotten an opportunity to take a short break from my crazy work schedule and join AirAsia's familiarisation trip to visit this charming little city called Sihanoukville in Cambodia. Since then, everyone asking me tonnes of questions like -
how was Cambodia? what to do in Sihanoukville? how much you spent in Cambodia? where in the world is Sihanoukville?
Though I'm pretty sure I did not manage to visit all the places in Sihanoukville, I would really hope at least my short getaway travel diary here would give you an idea of Sihanoukville in Cambodia. ;)
09 AUGUST 2017 (WEDNESDAY)
It was the first flight fly to Cambodia on that day. Although it wasn't my first time to be part of the inaugural AirAsia flight to a new destination, it still excites me as this also means there will be water salutation upon arrival!
The flight journey took us 1 hour 45 minutes and I was actually wondering why we weren't given the arrival/departure form to fill during the flight. It was quite a hassle and horror seeing the queue to get the form upon arriving Sihanoukville International Airport. This whole process actually took us another 30 minutes to an hour just to go through the immigration. Fuuh!
|
I was glad to know this lady who originally from
Sihanoukville town itself before arriving the destination itself.
It was interesting to know that they may not speak English,
but they do speak fluent Chinese Mandarin language in Sihanoukville!
|
ps. the Thai Green Curry in-flight meal was soso good!
It wasn't spicy at all, which is totally my fave!
Make sure you pre-book your meal to avoid disappointment
and save more! ;)

3:00 pm
It took us approximately half an hour journey from the airport to Dara Independence Beach Resort & Spa and we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink.
Dara Independence Beach Resort & Spa is such a massive resort!
Entering the property vast premises from the winding seaside road, you immerse yourself tropical flora, preserved animal life and serene quietness. You can enjoy strolling along the alleyways and stairways carved into the rocks; they have Independence Beach on one side and the Terrace promenade on the other. There are so much more you can do within the resort itself which I will be sharing in a separate post dedicated to this stunning resort. Meanwhile, do check out Dara Independence Beach Resort & Spa at
www.darahotels.asia.
4:00 pm
We finally checked in to our rooms and given some time to rest and refresh ourselves before heading out to get our local sim card and hunt for the local Cambodia noodle.
Off we go!
I find it the only way for you to get around the places in Sihanoukville would be great if your hotel provides free shuttle to the town or motorbike rental would be an alternative option!
Getting a local sim card may not an easy process here, especially if you are not able to converse in their language. Here's a few thing that you need to know before getting a local sim card in Sihanoukville - how many days you will be staying there? which telco will work well at the island whilst you are doing the island hopping? which telco offers the best value for money tourist package?
We're lucky to have a local with us and it definitely helped a lot in term of communication. As we're running out of time for our dinner at Independence, we had to skip the Cambodia noodle agenda and back to our hotel instead.
7:00 pm
Dinner at Sunset Restaurant.
It was a wonderful dinner at Independence and I've had the best Lobster Bisque ever, so far in my life. I secretly wished I could have a second serving of it! The seafood was extremely fresh and I must say the BBQ crabs were sososo delicious that we wouldn't mind getting our hands dirty for it! It felt like home, as in my home back in KK!
10:00 pm
As much as I wanted to join some of them out to explore the Beach Pub Street, I was totally exhausted after the long day and rather stay in for a warm bath with my favorite Lush bath bomb and bubble bar instead. Knowing how early we had to wake up for the next day activities made me feel like I've made a wise decision too! :p
10 AUGUST 2017 (THURSDAY)
7:30 am
Rise and shine! We got ourselves fully rested for the whole day.
The morning breakfast spread was pretty extensive and I would say we were spoilt with choices! I got myself fried egg with baked beans, a bowl of noodle soup, bacon and sausages, local fruits and few glasses of juices before hop onto the bus for our island hopping fun day ahead.
10:00 am
To be honest I couldn't remember the exact timing we reached this beautiful private beach then and now opened to the public - Sok San Beach Resort. The sun was scorching hot and trust me, all of us got our tan lines within just a few minutes (I am not kidding!).
We were warmly greeted by the resort staff with a refreshing welcome drink and proceeded with the resort tour. I always looking forward to property tour because that way I know I will be able to check out all different types of rooms in the hotel or resort, as well as finding out the specialty of each room too!
I will be sharing more in-depth about the whole resort and room types in a separate post, stay tuned!
We get to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea while waiting for the snorkeling - the water was crystal clear, and the view was really amazing too! This whole island totally reminds me of the island back in my hometown, Sabah. We spent most of our time trying to capture good photos and soak in the sun.
11:30 AM
The boat ride to snorkeling spot was not too far too! It was so much fun as we got to see those lovely, colorful fish and you just got to be careful with those sea urchins underneath! Nevertheless, we totally enjoyed the entire snorkeling trip!
After a good 15-30minutes, we were brought back to the island to clean ourselves and enjoy the scrumptious seafood meal! Till today, I've really been missing the fresh and sweet crabs that I've had in Sihanoukville! :(
Sok San Beach Resort is such a wonderful island and I wish we could spend a night there! Well, let's make that happen for the next visit! :D
We were then off to another two different islands - one of them was so happening with shops and bars, I reckon the nightlife is definitely going to be fun and lively; while the another one was more of a chilling type, the vibe was kinda similar to Sok San Beach.
We didn't get to spend much time on the final island due to the weather, it started to rain and we have to get back quick before the sea gets super rough.
5:00 PM
We were given just enough time to refresh and get ready for our dinner at another wonderful hotel - Naia Hotel. Not only we were welcomed greatly by the team, but also served with refreshing passion fruit mojito before proceeded with the hotel tour.
The entire hotel tour here consists of "ooh", "whoaa", "omgggg", "this is so amazing"... Yup, the rooms were uniquely decorated with amazing art accents, it was so beautiful and cozy! Again, I will share more about this hotel in a separate post too!
8:00 PM
We had the most romantic dinner at Naia. The food was really delicious and the compliments for each course flow naturally throughout the dinner session! You can taste almost all the signature dish here! Twas definitely marked the good ending for the day!
11 AUGUST 2017 (FRIDAY)
9:00 AM
It's our last day in Sihanoukville and I decided to wake up early to enjoy the Ocean Pool at our resort! Morning dip also means less crowd and you could chill whilst enjoying the sea view right in front of you!
11:00 AM
Thankfully, we managed to slot in a quick stop at the market and get to experience the local market in Sihanoukville! It was so crowded and you can easily get almost everything from this market itself!
& it's time to bid goodbye to this wonderful little town of Sihanoukville. ;)
The good news is... AirAsia flies 4x weekly from Kuala Lumpur to Sihanouville, Cambodia where you can enjoy the paradise on the other side of Cambodia! Book your tickets now at www.airasia.com!

If you are following me on
Instagram and watches my Instagram stories, you would have seen all the snaps of live eels and how the experienced chef prepare the unadon from scratch. I remember that I did not geotag the location for the first few snaps and some of you were curious where is it? It probably t
he ONLY Japanese restaurant in Malaysia that imports LIVE eels all the way from Japan to ensure the freshness of all of its unagi-dish -
MAKOTO JAPANESE CUISINE (
formerly known as Hikari-ya) at Desa Dri Hartamas.

There are three different dining sections
for the patrons to choose from
in Makoto Japanese Cuisine.
|
The warm and cozy interior setting allow the guests to enjoy their food comfortably. If you would like to have an intimate session for the special celebration or private business meeting, simply call to book for the private room.
Now let's back to the main topic.
In Makoto, they imports live Japanese eels all the way from Tsukiji market in Japan in order for the guests to enjoy its utmost original taste and sweetness. The imported Japanese eels come in batches and weekly basis. You would be able to enjoy Unagi dish in few different ways according to the original Japan tradition.
There's no shortcut when it comes to serving authentic unagi dish in Makoto. Chef Hayashi would prepare the eels from scratch - the process of grilling, steaming, dipping into tare sauce - all required proper attention to details to ensure it's perfectly char-grilled before serving to the customers.
Apart from Unagi dishes, you would be able to enjoy other Japanese cuisines including the seasonal items available daily in the restaurant too!
Yamaudo Sumiso (RM10), a type of wild plant from the high mountain, topped with sumiso paste; Nama Junsai, fresh water shield or also known as water lily. The Yamaudo Sumiso is crisp and tasty, super refreshing! Both of these appetizers have a hint of sourish in it. These ingredients are seasonal but fret not, make sure you look at the whiteboard for the special seasonal dishes!
Daikon Angkake (RM10), this white radish dish is a little mushy to my liking, nevertheless, the overall taste is good.
Fresh oyster with ponzu sauce (RM22/piece), the oyster imported all the way from Canada and it's really huge. You may eat it as it is with the ponzu sauce or add an extra squeeze of lemon to it.
I LOVE SASHIMI and I would definitely go for this sashimi platter (RM138) anytime! You might find surprises in each platter as the chef will be adding some of the fresh seasonal items into it too.
If you fancy tempura, you can order them based on your choice - be it prawn, kisu, hamo tamanegi, obha leaves - or simply order a platter! At here, you can enjoy it in its traditional way, to dip it into the sauce or salt. It was my first time eating tempura with salt, not bad at all.
Now, let's go into the unagi dish. Here's an interesting one - Hone Senbei (eel crackers). The eels bones deep fried to perfection, it's crunchy and addictive! I secretly wish I can have all the serving by own! :p
Unaju (small set - RM100), unagi cooked in the kabayaki style served with rice, pickles and clear soup. The large set of unaju served with whole unagi, rice, pickles and kimo liver clear soup. You can definitely taste its sweetness and delightful tender texture melts in your mouth. It was really satisfying. Want to try the difference between the live eels prepared fresh and pre-packed unagi? Come try it yourself! ;)
The unagi kabayaki style might be common to everyone, what about this unagi cooked in shirayaki style? This Unagi Shirayaki with shirayaki cooking method where the eel is seasoned with salt only allows you to try the genuine flavor of unagi. You may eat it plain or with wasabi or dip in the special sauce. Another Japanese favorite way to eat it - adding a little ground shanso pepper that has a hint of herbal flavor to it.
For desserts, we had the matcha ice cream and warabimochi. The matcha ice cream is so creamy and rich in taste, totally yums! Now let's talk about this warabimochi. Again, it's also my first time trying out this traditional Japanese dessert and I'm pretty sure I've never really seen this in any other Japanese restaurant's menu. A mixture of mochi and mochi-jelly like texture topped with toasted soybean powder, drizzled with gula Melaka - super delish! This is definitely a must-order dessert in Makoto!
If you love all-things unagi or unagi enthusiast, you won't want to miss out this 1-night special unagi course dinner with the VIP Chef Otani all the way from Japan this coming 23rd September 2017! It is only by reservation, make your reservation quick before it's sold out!

I kid you not, summer in Hong Kong is blardy warm.
If it wasn't because I've been to the Hong Kong Disneyland, I probably will get super upset with the weather. Thankfully, I've been there and I didn't bother to wait until the firework show. By 3 pm, I just wanted to go back to the hotel and stay in with 16C air-conditioner cold room.
The first thing I did when I got back to my hotel room - shower and apply mask sheet.
tip: keep your mask sheet/mask pack in the mini-fridge in the hotel room to enjoy the cooling mask whenever you need it!
WHAT'S IN MY TRAVEL SKINCARE BAG?
Simple Dual Effect Eye Makeup Remover: This is a crucial step for me as I use waterproof mascara most of the time. It's so easy to remove my entire eye makeup without excessive rubbing needed!
Shu Uemura Skin Purifier: I will first use this cleansing oil to remove my entire face makeup before proceeding with double cleanse my skin.
Glamglow Clearing Cleanser: I have a few different types of facial cleanser at home and I would use them according to my skin condition. I decided to pack this because it is in travel-sized and it really cleans my skin nicely!
Simple Kind To Skin Facial Toner: I love this toner, it keeps my skin fresh and clean without drying my skin! The affordable price point for this product is a bonus too!
Kiehl's Acne Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment: I can't live without this spot treatment, this really works like magic on my acne and blemishes!
Skin Doctors SD White & Bright: I use this as a moisturizer twice daily as it helps with the appearance of skin firmness and moisturization. It has added the benefit of UVA filters too!
Rappol Ultra Calming Sunscreen: I can't live a day without sunscreen. This particular one from Rappol is a highly moisturizing mild sunscreen (SPF25 PA++) for daily use and has a unique feature formula of Dust Cut and UV Protector formula that helps to create a barrier between your skin and the outside world pollution. It has a mild plesant scent and not greasy at all, love it! As much as I love this product, I wish it has higher SPF especially with the crazy warm weather, I had to reapply this sunscreen every 2 hours to make sure I have sufficient SPF for my skin throughout the day.
CICA Renew Tea Tree Mask and Geranium Mask: I always bring minimum 3 sheets of mask sheet of the different variant for my trip. Tea Tree mask is perfect for my skin as I have acne prone skin type; while the geranium helps to reduce skin inflammation, relieve pain and lower stress level after a long day out! Applying mask sheet is always a way for me to allow my skin absorb the concentrated essence almost immediately and keeping my skin hydrated at the same time too.
tip: apply the mask after toner will allow your skin absorb the essence better! ;)
ENCOS Arbutin 5% Whitening Cream: This product claimed to help whiten and brighten the skin over the time with the regular application of it. It contains arbutin 5% and it's the only skin lightening ingredient approved by KFD! I normally apply this on my cheeks as it does help on pigmentation. Although I do not have any visible pigmentation, I'm still quite worried as I am exposed to the sun almost the whole day during my trip.
That pretty much sums up my skin care regimen during my trip to Hong Kong!

Alainn (pronounced as "aw-lin"), from the Old Irish, brings the meaning "beautiful".
Alainn Medispa, a health and aesthetic clinic has recently opened its second branch at the Platinum Park, Persiaran KLCC.

Dr. Nurul Ain Abdullah's experience in the field of aesthetics has enabled her to identify the most concerning problems affecting women.
Alainn offers clients various treatments ranging from facials, laser therapy, radio frequency therapy, platelet rich plasma, dermal fillers, anti-aging, weight loss management and much more! Some of the signature treatments are:
Yummy Mummy - helping women to manage the effect of pregnancy and childbirth on their body by addressing issues such as loose skin, stretch marks, cellulite within a holistic approach on body contouring.
FemiVa - an exciting new idea that has awakened feminine sensuality by combining invasive procedures to rejuvenate the vulva and vagina - giving women a more youthful look and feeling.
Smart Sculpting - allowing you to outsmart stubborn fat with the best non-surgical medical grade therapies within a relaxing and comfortable environment.
In conjunction with the new branch launching, all of the invited guests get to experience both laser skin and lip rejuvenation treatment on that day.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation is a non-invasive med-aesthetic treatment designed to removed skin blemishes and stimulates increased production of collagen which works to improve the overall appearance of the skin. Just so you know that there are several areas of the skin which can be treated using laser skin rejuvenation - facial skin, legs, arms, torso, and hands. I was very surprised with the result of before and after on my hands and I can't imagine how amazing the result when it is used to treat facial skin - smooth and wrinkle free!
If you are worried about the pain, other than feeling the warm sensation, it totally pains less! I love how it was then followed by a mini hand massage to complete the mini sesison.
Laser Lip Rejuvenation procedure uses a combination of Fraxel laser treatment to rejuvenate wrinkled or aged lip. For this treatment, they will first apply a layer of numbing cream on the lip before proceeding with the treatment. During the process, there'll be a slight tingling sensation, it's totally bearable. I was also informed that it is not advisable to eat any spicy food after the treatment. You will feel happy to see younger skin appears smooth on the surface because of the presence of fat tissues and the adequate production of collagen.
Twas such a pleasant experience trying out some of the treatment services offered in Alainn Clinic and Medispa. Of course, you won't be able to see a very significant result with just one session, hence regular treatment is recommended to achieve the result you wish to achieve. ;)
Congrats again Alainn Clinic & Medispa for your second branch opening! Looking forward trying out other treatment services offered in the clinic!

Online shopping can be addictive and we all know that the word shopping also means spending money. I've talked about how I love doing online shopping in few blog posts and as time goes by, I've discovered more tips on how can I save some moolah whilst doing the shopping.
Here are some of my ways to save money on online shopping...
#1 Create A WISHLIST
As I grow older and wiser, I don't shop blindly. Instead of adding all the items that I wanted to my shopping cart, I add them to my wishlist. From the wishlist, I then add the items that I needed the most to my shopping cart. This way, I've created an extra filtering step to select the items needed from my wishlist. Trust me, this extra step actually saved me from spending money on unnecessary items.
#2 Leave Items in the SHOPPING CART
Well if the first one does not work well for you, try this one instead. There are a few times where I was shopping halfway after added my items to the cart and I had to go somewhere and often forgotten about my items. Guess what? I received an email with a special discount code to inform me about my items in the cart and that simply means I got a better bargain by just leaving my items in the cart!
Why don't you give this a try too?
#3 Hunt for DISCOUNT CODES
Be a smart online shopper by hunting for those discount codes for your favorite online shopping sites. Luckily for me, I know I can always get discount codes from
ShopCoupons! And I kid you not, you can find almost every online stores' discount coupon codes and vouchers such as Zalora,
Lazada Voucher, Sephora, Cotton On, Hermo, and much more. All you need to do is search your favorite retailer on the site and click "Get Code" or "Get Deal" to reveal the code and visit the store. When you found the item you want in the store, simply insert the coupon code at the checkout and the discount will be automatically applied. Easy-peasy!

18.07.2017 marks the 7th year of us being together.
It's kinda crazy because the both of us seriously are the opposite of each other and this was exactly what I've written in the very first post talking about our relationship. But here we are, still together with each other.
#1 Thank you for always being super supportive and always be the bigger person in our relationship.
#2 Thank you for your understanding whenever I said I'm busy.
#3 Thank you for respecting my me-time whenever I needed it.
#4 Thank you for always cooking late-night supper whenever I said I'm hungry after 12 midnight.
#5 Thank you for always be there for me especially when I needed someone the most.
#6 Thank you for all the Disneyland trips and getting me more Minnie Mouse stuff!
#7 Thank you for being patient with me whenever I turned into an emotional wreck person during the time of the month.
And that seven things about you that I'm really thankful for...
Happy anniversary, love.
