So, here's what I'm up against: the entertainment system (including CD player, radio, aux inputs, and phone/Bluetooth/SYNC) in my 2012 Ford Escape XLT have stopped working. If I press any of the buttons related to any of these features, nothing happens.

2012 Escape - Radio/CD/Aux/SYNC not working

Down to this:
2004 4.0 Explorer

it appears I have no power to the actuator.
I’ve pulled/replaced #15 (someone online recommended). No change.

New actuator was installed. I need to reset apparently. The videos and recommended fuses don’t match the fuses in my owners manual.

I tried the disconnect the battery method but no improvement. As I see it the actuator wouldn’t reset until I’m getting power to it.

I bought a 66 Galaxie convertible. Been fun, and lots of work, but I'm banging up against an electrical issue that is proving to be less fun.

What I DON'T have with key set to ON.

• Ignition from the key (new solenoid, new ignition switch, ended up installing a push button to get it started for now.)
• Instrument cluster/lights.

*Turn signals (new relay installed, signal switch on the way. There's power at the relay)...

Hi everyone, My 2017 escape titanium 2.0 all of a sudden lost fog and high beam function. Daylight running lights, signal lights and low beams work. All fuses and bulbs are good. Replaced the switch on the left side by the door and it didn't resolve. As far as I understand from reading there is no relay for the headlights in this vehicle. 2017 ford escape 2.0 titanium

My 2011 ford escape is low on transmission fluid. I haven't noticed any leaks at all. This is the first time I have heard of mercon Lv transmission fluid and I've looked at 2 different auto parts stores so far and they don't have it. My question is do I have to use that specific one or can I use mercon v with like a Lucas transmission fluid additive. What are your opinions? Thank you.

1965 Full Size Ford Transmission(s)

Morning All, I have a 65 Ranchero 289. When starting out slow, the trans shifts from 1st to 2nd gear real hard. (boom.... you can feel it ) Same 2nd to 3rd gear although not as bad. I turned the modulator screw counter clockwise 3 turns already with little change. Also, sometimes it's worse than others. The vac line is direct from the manifold. Could the valve body have anything to do with this? thank you in advance. mc

I am looking for an air pump for my husbands F150 Edie Bauer Edition. We have replace this pump twice with used parts and once had rebuilt.
We have owned since 1998 second owner, have replace cracked block, head, gas tank, wiring, cooling and gas lines over the last 3 yrs. Basically rebuilt but have run into a problem finding this air pump. Vehicle is setting after all this work due to this issue. Anyone have a part number or idea as to where I can find it.

My 2001 Ford E350 7.3l Powerstroke diesel has been serving me rather well. However sometimes and only when hot it won't start. But only sometimes. Sometimes it won't start then I cycle the glow plugs and it starts. Sometimes it won't start for 3+ hours since last ran.

I put a scan tool too it. And it read.
ICP: 200PSI
IPR: 64%
RPM: 230

Is there anything else I could be missing? Since it will start most of the time. Just from time to time it won't. Which sucks and is lame...

No start 01 E350 7.3l. IPR? Or something else?

Wifey's Escape she's been not happy complaining that you must turn ignition key to crank mode and have nothing happen but return key to off position then crank position again it will finally crank and start no problem. Talking two to four attempts to get it to just crank every time on a restart to drive and getting worse.
This a problem other Escape owners have encountered? Acts like a relay having pitted worn or dirty contacts?

2010 Escape ignition no crank 30% of the time

2012 ford escape 3.0L. Long story short. There is no ground signal from the PCM to the starter relay and the security light flashes. One out of the three keys will crank the motor if I tap into # 7 wire ( yellow ) at the PCM , but it only cranks, no start. Try to find # 39 VT wire from transmission to PCM but no luck. Thinking that it might be a neutral safety switch or a bad PCM. Can't find a wire diagram for the PCM online.

I went to start car from cold start. Pump gas few time then tried to start. It kept cranking but wouldnt turn over. Soon as i turn key off, the car still kept cranking. I pulled key out it kept going. I tried to push the gas pedal to floor to try flood it and the darn car started and ran for 10 seconds then went back to cranking . I pulled my dash so I could replace the dash lights. The only light working was the right hand turn signal. I proceeded to replace all of the bulbs and I finished it was still the same thing. Right hand turn signal was still the only working. Any ideas would certainly help. And no I did not cut or remove any wires. I am at total loss.

today engine compartment started smoking. put it on a lift to find powersteering leaking onto exhaust. worried about if itll catch on fire.. wrapped foil around rack pinion in hopes of diflecting leak away from exhaust.
Looks like leaking from a hose directly on top of the rack.looks like its wrapped in some heat protectant cover. any ideas as to what it is and would i be able to just change out the hose?
