Yes, I haven’t updated my blog because I have been really busy from last year till now and mummy had been busy with the moving to our new store last year. But now that everything is settled and I’ve settled into Junior high school, mummy thought she should start to journal again, that way she doesn’t miss out on my milestones.

Visiting grampie and Aunt Helena on Sundays is a must because mummy said so. If it was up to mummy , she wants to go every week but sometimes because of a very busy schedule or because mummy has other commitments already, we don’t get to go. But if we did miss one week of visiting Grampie, we will definitely go the next. Sometimes, Grampie comes and visit us in town but we get to see Aunt Helena more because she is very active and she has dancing and she goes for other activities, so she drops in more often than Grampie.

But this week, we get to play with some new born kittens and we have all 3 of them on the couch with us. Daddy and I loved kittens but not mummy, she is scared of them or don’t like them because of their tails. 2 of the black kittens were pretty calm and slept but the one with white in color on it was all over daddy and was making its way inside daddy’s jacket.

We spent a few hours visiting Grampie and left when Aunt Helena had to leave for the Nova Scotia Music Festival in town. And no , they are not new pets for us because if we brought the kittens home, mummy won’t be staying home with us.

You have been gone since summer and you promised to write to me and be penpals. Have you forgotten about me already? We were friends since Grade Primary , I didn’t forget you , in fact I think of you often and miss you very much. I wished you were still in town and school isn’t the same without you. I miss you my best friend forever, please call and write to me and let me know that you are alright.

Daddy and I had been doing our bear shopping at the Frenchy’s. I figured instead of spending tons of money at Build A Bear for my bear’s clothes, I should get some baby’s clothes at Frenchy’s, washed them and dress up my bears. Now isn’t that smart of me and really good with my money. Mom and Dad are so proud of me that I came up with this idea.

I looked for my bear’s clothes on my own as you can see here because mom just don’t know how to go through the bins. I think she just doesn’t like it but Dad searched for my Halloween costume because I want to be a minion but we didn’t have any luck with it.

I managed to find 3 pieces of clothing for my bear and it’s not even $10 – I think I only paid $7 and mom made dad give me back $5 – hahahah! I have the best mom ! I loved Frenchy’s shopping and I’m sure dad is willing to drive me to Frenchy’s whenever I want.

Thank you Auntie Sam for the balloons that you got Ian to get for me when I am sick , I really appreciate it and love it but you didn’t have to spend money on me. I will get better really soon, I don’t like to be sick but I get to spend time with mom alone and at home, we didn’t go to work today ! I feel absolutely blessed with so many aunties from all over the world caring for me and sending me gifts.

Thank you for the postcards , Auntie Alice. You are so kind to think of me always , whether you are on vacation or for a business trips. You send me gifts and postcards, I loved the postcards so much because I loved seeing the stamps and collecting them. I can’t wait to frame up the postcards and put them at our cottage to show friends and family.

The top one is from Washington and the second on was when you had a layover and was in Russia. Love it so much. Thank you very much ! I am grateful for an Aunt like you.

This is butterscotch my pet bunny. He is a male and he is half dwarf and half normal bunny because his father is a dwarf bunny and his mom is a normal size bunny. We bought Butter scotch like 3 weeks ago and he is the best bunny ever. He never poops all over the house but only in his cage and in the morning, he is outside in his bunny run and hutch that daddy build for him.

At night, he comes back into the house and sleeps inside because I don’t want him to freeze in the cold nor die because some bigger animal may scare him. I did ask for a bunny but I didn’t think that mom and dad would get me one , so I was very excited when we found one in town. We are currently looking for a real dwarf bunny to keep Butterscotch company. Come meet my bunny if you are in town.

This summer I grew my very own potatoes and it is somewhat successful albeit a little small. For those who don’t know this, my grampie can grow anything. And when I say anything I mean ANYTHING ! my grampie grows the best corn, best potatoes, best peas, well you get the picture right? Everything he grows are so yummy , from fruits to vegetable and even vegetables from Asia that mummy likes.

Next year , I’m going to leave more space and loosen the soil more so that the potatoes can grow bigger and I want to grow a lot more. So I cleaned my potatoes and scrubbed them good for daddy to boil them for me but alas ! my potatoes disintegrated !!!!! I was devastated but daddy said, next year, we will grow more and better ones. Oh well, I did managed to grow them right? so that is a plus for me? I want some green fingers like my grampie.

I’m trying to find a purpose in life this summer because I am not going to any camp like I used to. So daddy set me to work at the store and I get to earn $5 an hour for work done at the store. So here I am tagging the movies with new prices and that was easy because I love doing it.

At the end of the day, I made like $15 but I will only get paid on Friday.

Of course, I did more than that , I cleaned the store, I dust the store, I cleaned all the glass cabinets and refilled the pop.

And I put away movies and games that are to be sold into little sleeves.

And also arranged the movies by alphabetical order. I wasn’t really tired at the end of the day but that made me appreciate what mom and dad does in the store. But mostly dad because dad does a lot more in the store.

Beach day ! And since we have our own private beach just behind our cottage, we have to make use of it even though it was pretty cold after the sun went behind the clouds. My “cousin” Jessica was with me and we had such a blast.
