Review – Real Men Modal 7-Inch Boxer Brief with V Fly 8:00 AM (9 hours ago)

Real Men furnished the Real Men Modal 7-Inch Boxer Brief with V Fly for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Real Men.

Rating: 8.8/10

(Average of the ratings below)

Pros:

Cons:

UNB Tim recommendation:

This is a standout option if you’re a boxer brief guy or want to dip your toe into something longer for colder months. The pouch and horizontal fly design set it apart. While I’m not usually a boxer brief fan, this pair surprised me and proved functional, stylish, and comfortable. Worth checking out—especially if you value innovation in fit and function.

Paragraph 1 – Introduction:

I’m reviewing the Real Men Modal 7-Inch Boxer Brief with V Fly today. Now, I’m usually not a boxer brief guy—I stick to bikinis and briefs—but I was intrigued by this pair. It’s made of modal (one of my favorite fabrics) and features a horizontal fly, something you don’t see daily. Real Men sent these over for review; as always, the thoughts here are completely my own.

Paragraph 2 – Daily Wear Test:

I wore these to work twice. The first pair rode up in the back and wasn’t super comfortable. But I didn’t let that one bad apple spoil the bunch. I tried a second pair the next day, and it fit much better, with no ride-up issues. I was impressed. The fly is also super functional (yes, I tested it!), and would come in handy if you’re in a rush. It felt warm and secure during colder weather—perfect for winter errands and workdays outdoors.

Paragraph 3 – Fabric and Construction:

Like the Real Men bikinis, the fabric here is modal—soft, smooth, and breathable. The stitching and build quality are excellent. The pouch is designed with thought and precision, fitting just right without being too tight or loose. The construction around the legs keeps the briefs from riding up, which is a huge plus.

Paragraph 4 – Sizing:

I stuck with my usual size, and it fit great. Real Men continues to impress with its inclusive sizing and multiple pouch options. From XS to 5XL and beyond, it caters to all body types—and that alone is worth applauding. Just be sure to get the pouch size that suits you best.

Paragraph 5 – Conclusion:

Even as someone who rarely wears boxer briefs, I must admit this pair made an impression. Between the genius pouch, the functional horizontal fly, and the comfy modal fabric, it checks many boxes. It’s a great winter option for guys who usually wear smaller styles. I’m glad I gave this one a second chance, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an upgraded boxer brief.

PAIR: Real Men Modal 7-Inch Boxer Brief with V Fly

COLORS: Bright colors like purple, pink, green (and others)

FABRIC: Modal (likely a modal/spandex blend, feels similar to bikini version)

SIZES: XS–5XL (with multiple pouch size options)

COST: Approx. $39.95(per 3-pack, depending on current pricing)

Review – Real Men Modal Low-Rise Bikini 31 Mar 8:00 AM (4 days ago)

Real Men furnished the Real Men Modal Low-Rise Bikini for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Real Men.

Rating: 9.6/10

(Average of the ratings below)

Daily Fit: 9/10

Sizing: 10/10

Construction: 10/10

Styling: 10/10

Daily Performance: 9/10

Pros:

• Super affordable for a 3-pack

• Multiple pouch sizes for a better personalized fit

• Soft and breathable modal fabric

• Fun and bright color options

Cons:

• May take trial and error to find your perfect pouch size

• Limited classic color options like black and white

• Not ideal if you’re not a fan of traditional bikini cuts

UNB Tim recommendation:

If you’re a fan of bikinis and modal fabric, this is a must-try pair. Real Men is offering something unique with multiple pouch sizes and inclusive sizing—making great underwear accessible to more guys. While it’s not a perfect 10 across the board for me, it’s incredibly close and worth the investment. Definitely recommend it.

Paragraph 1 – Introduction:

The pair I’m reviewing today is the Real Men Modal Low-Rise Bikini. Longtime fans will know I love both bikinis and modal fabric—so this was right in my sweet spot. I’ve reviewed previous Real Men pairs that I absolutely loved, so I was looking forward to seeing how these compared. These were provided by Real Men for the review, and I liked them enough to also buy a second 3-pack, bringing my total to six pairs.

Paragraph 2 – Daily Wear Test:

I wore these to work—which for me means two very different jobs. One is more sedentary, and the other one keeps me moving. Through it all, these stayed comfortable and didn’t ride up or shift around. The modal fabric made them breathable and soft. Even though I wore them in the winter, I could already tell they’ll be perfect for summer, too.

Paragraph 3 – Fabric and Construction:

This pair is made of modal, one of my favorite fabrics due to its softness and stretch. Construction-wise, they’re top-notch—high-quality stitching, excellent craftsmanship, and a great overall feel. The pouch is one of the defining features and comes in four sizes. I found the C pouch to be the best fit for me. While this cut is a little different than some of their previous bikinis, it’s still incredibly well-made and comfortable.

Paragraph 4 – Sizing:

I got my usual size, and it fit perfectly. One thing I love about Real Men is their inclusive sizing—from XS to 5XL. And with the pouch sizing options, there’s a lot of flexibility to get your ideal fit. Just make sure to check the size chart to get the most accurate fit.

Paragraph 5 – Conclusion:

Overall, the Real Men Modal Low-Rise Bikini is a fantastic pair that delivers on comfort, style, and value. If you’re into bold colors and appreciate a well-constructed bikini cut with customizable pouch options, this is definitely for you. I highly recommend trying them—just double-check your pouch size before you commit.

PAIR: Real Men Modal Low-Rise Bikini

COLORS: Purple, Pink, Green (and more)

FABRIC: Modal (exact content not listed but typically modal/spandex blend)

SIZES: XS–5XL

COST: Approx. $34.95 (for a 3-pack, depending on current promotions)

MODUS VIVENDI is proud to announce the launch of its “Two of A Kind” campaign, celebrating individuality and connection through the brand’s new Retro Line. The campaign captures the essence of two men whose contrasting personalities—one a meticulous perfectionist, the other a carefree rebel—come together in a striking display of unity, linked by the bold red hue that runs throughout the campaign. This juxtaposition of distinct worlds represents the diverse and multifaceted nature of the modern man.

In the “Two of A Kind” campaign, we see two men whose unique qualities—one focused on precision and structure, the other embracing spontaneity and freedom—are united by a common thread: red. This powerful color symbolizes strength, passion, and the vibrant connection between the two personalities. The campaign explores the idea that while differences exist, there is beauty in the balance, and together, they create a dynamic harmony.

Brief Talk After Dark – Male Corsets with Kristina and John 28 Mar 8:00 AM (7 days ago)

Corsets. Once seen exclusively as a women’s garment, they are now making a bold return—this time with men confidently claiming their space in this iconic silhouette. On a recent episode of the Brief Talk Podcast, I sat down with Kristina Bonfield and John from X-Dress and BodyAware to explore this growing trend, from history to styling to fit.

A Brief History: Men Were the First Corset Wearers?

Kristina shared a fascinating fact—men have been wearing corsets for over a thousand years. Dating back to the Minoan civilization, statues have depicted men in underbust corsets made of wood, wool, and even whalebone. “They wanted to improve posture or perhaps hide the effects of too much wine and grapes,” Kristina quipped.

The Fit Factor: Getting It Right

Wearing a corset isn’t as simple as slipping on a pair of briefs—it takes time, effort, and a bit of guidance. My first corset experience? Let’s just say it involved shoulder strain and frustration.

“There are tips and tricks,” Kristina explained. “Ideally, it’s a two-person job, but you can learn to lace it yourself, just like tying shoes.”

John added, “When picking a size, start with your waist, not your chest. And subtract 2 to 4 inches from your waist measurement—that’s your corset size.”

Trust me, this advice would’ve saved me some serious struggle.

Style That Stands Out

Corsets aren’t just for the bedroom anymore. They’re showing up under suit jackets, paired with kilts, and even layered over spandex bodysuits. “There are no rules anymore,” I said during the show—and I mean it. Men are redefining what it means to be sexy, stylish, and confident.

Kristina loves the creativity: “A black satin corset with a white shirt and kilt? It’s amazingly sexy.”

John imagined a corset in spandex or even a sports team-themed design. “The fabric possibilities are endless—mesh, satin, even denim.”

Confidence is Key

“Wearing a corset makes you feel like a Marvel superhero,” Kristina said. “It improves posture, holds you in, and gives you that confident edge.”

But let’s be real—this isn’t for the faint of heart. “It’s not for the shy guy,” I pointed out. “Wearing one out will get attention, but if you’re making a statement, own it.”

Challenges and Creativity

From design to photo shoots, corsets are one of the most complex garments to produce. “It’s a mathematical nightmare,” Kristina laughed. But X-Dress continues to evolve the designs, collaborating with corset experts and exploring fresh styles.

And for those wondering, yes—there’s even a trick involving a roll of paper towels to help get the perfect fit during photoshoots. No shame in a little behind-the-scenes magic.

Final Tips from the Experts

If you’re thinking of trying a corset:

Start with a front-zip or underbust corset for easier wear.

Use your waist measurement (not chest) and subtract 2–4 inches.

Open the lacing before you try it on—make it easier on yourself.

Don’t go it alone. Reach out to John at BodyAware—he’s there to help.

The Future Is Wide Open

As John said, “When left to our own devices, we come up with some pretty interesting ways to wear things.” And he’s right. More men are pushing past gendered fashion norms, embracing lingerie as a form of expression and fun.

To quote Kristina: “If women can wear them, men can wear them.”

And we couldn’t agree more. Listen wherever you get podcasts

Why are guys not coming out as Underwear Lovers 24 Mar 8:00 AM (11 days ago)

Why don’t guys Come out as underwear lovers?

I have been going through a lot lately. Most of it I won’t go into, but one thing I have been thinking about is why is it a lot of guys still hide their love of underwear. Now, after many years of doing UNB, my love of underwear is part of my personality and DNA.

One of my most significant issues is getting regular guys on the podcast. I hear more of you guys saying you like hearing these guys, who are real guys and not social media guys with thousands of followers. They love “normal” guys sharing their origin stories, and many times, it matches their own. The more we hear our journey is not one-off, the more guys can accept and build a community.

Why isn’t talking undies accepted

Imagine walking up to your best friend and saying, “Man, these new AussieBums are fucking Fantastic,” And he goes, “Right!? The fit is perfect. Which color did you get?” This is normal to me, but for 80% of you reading this, it’s not something you would ever share with a buddy or friend.

My main belief is that underwear is something we are taught shouldn’t be seen. Therefore, it is something you should not talk about. It’s something very personal. I mean, growing up, we weren’t supposed to be seen in it, and if we were and got pantsed in junior high, it was embarrassing. And if we were just in our undies, I bet most were told to put some pants on, and it’s not polite to be in just undies.

Second, underwear plays a key part in coming out for the LGBTQ community. In my case, the pilgrimage to the underwear sections of department stores was a significant part of my adolescent years going to the mall. I would say I was going to the bookstore, but first, make a trip to undies and gaze at the skimpy designs and bright colors. So many others did this, including some straight guys. We would then buy these undies when we got money and hide them. We would feel sexy and incredible sliding them on. It was our secret until we were inevitably found out. Many were lucky like me, and it wasn’t a big deal, and it was accepted. While others had their precious stash thrown away and told to wear underwear that real men wear (this leads into my last point in the next paragraph). Our sexual identity is so closely tied to our underwear love that it makes it even more of a personal journey.

Lastly, when you talk about undies, the population at large has ideals about what is masculine and what real men wear. This has been ingrained in us since our youth. Boys wear boxers or boxer briefs; anything smaller is made for girls. And to fit in, you will wear what is expected. This is compounded by the fact that men aren’t supposed to feel or look sexy. If you do feel sexy, then you aren’t masculine. We are going through a phase where men are expected to be one way and one way only—anything else, and you are cast as unusual and strange.

All these things keep guys from coming out as underwear lovers. Social media has allowed guys to create alt accounts and share pics and posts anonymously. This allows more people to share their love in a safe space. And I applaud those doing it. Our friends and coworkers wouldn’t understand our passion. The joy we get from fabric and the confidence it brings us daily. It’s a hidden superpower we possess. Just know I will talk undies with anyone. It may take me a minute to reply, but I love these conversations.

If you read this post, I hope you have or will reach out to other guys and make new friends. It’s important we stick together and form a thriving community of underwear guys. There will be more to come on the blog and podcast about community building.

Help UNB Tim – iPad 6 Mar 10:41 AM (29 days ago)

I’m reaching out for help, which I rarely do. My iPad, which I use for creating art, is over six years old. Because of its limitations, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to draw or create in the past six months.

I initially thought, “I’ll take a break from art to focus on the podcast,” but creating art relaxes me and helps relieve my stress. I also want to improve my skills, particularly in physical art forms like painting and drawing, which I haven’t explored much.

Recently, with the madness of our current administration, I felt the urge to draw and create something fun. Unfortunately, my iPad could only handle a few layers in Procreate, the app I use for drawing, and it became extremely slow. Opening some older artwork took up to five minutes, leading me to give up in frustration.

So, I’m curious if any of you who enjoy my art and engage with my work would consider helping to fund a new iPad. The new entry-level iPad is priced at just $349, and while I’d love to get an iPad Air, it’s significantly more expensive. I can manage with the entry-level model, as I did for over six years. Plus, everything I own now works seamlessly with this iPad. I don’t need to get a new pencil.

I’m not asking for an iPad Pro—just something that will allow me to create more art for all of you. There are two ways you can contribute. First, you can purchase an Apple gift card at https://www.apple.com/shop/gift-cards. That email is unbblog (at) outlook dot com. Alternatively, you can send money through PayPal. I won’t post my email here, but feel free to contact me, and I’ll happily provide you with the details.

You might wonder why I can’t use the Patreon funds for the iPad. The truth is, the podcast is only just above break-even. The costs for hosting, equipment, domains, and other expenses consume almost all the income we receive from Patreon each month.

Thank you for listening and for any support you can provide!

Unpopular Underwear Opinions – Shared By readers 5 Mar 8:00 AM (last month)

I asked last week on social (Bluesky and Reddit) what is an unpopular Underwear opinion that you share and we had guys share with us some of their opinions]

NameOpinion
N/AClassic white briefs (tighty whities) are the best choice in men’s underwear
Underwear should be treated as an important part of an outfit, not just an afterthought! Too many guys grab whatever underwear is clean without considering how it affects their comfort, confidence, or even the way their clothes fit. Just like shoes, underwear choices should be intentional and suited to the day’s activities.
SticksA lot of new underwear has extra room for your junk as a selling feature. I actually prefer things to be right and tight in that area.
Like, why is the term “banana hammock” seen as a bad thing for underwear? Hammocks are super comfy. I need tight underwear so I’m not giving the world an anatomy lesson every time I wear sweatpants
AndrewUnpopular in general society is that thongs are the best underwear! I believe that they are! Why do I feel this because in Australia buying a man’s thong is almost completely impossible at retail outlets! It is not seen in any media unless as a joke.
Pete“Guys who pull their underwear up so high almost above their waist.
It reminds me of kids dressed by their mom “
N/A“Men wearing underwear designed to fit a woman’s body.
And generally ill-fitting underwear but that’s often the case with lace type underwear and lingerie.
This could go for any garment tho, when the cock and balls are popping out the side what’s the point of wearing them it just looks off. Idc what kind of body they’re on. They hardly look good on women too “
N/AThe word “undies” is a turn off. I don’t know why, maybe it just seems juvenile, but I don’t like it.
N/A“Late 20s straight guy here. Controversial only because of my demographic but… briefs are best. No ride up, great support, and they’re damn sexy.
Others:
1) Guys look great in lace
2) Hammock / ball cradle pouches are awful
3) Poly > cotton”
T Loves Briefs. Designer undies are overrated. Cheap briefs are the way to go. You can buy loads of them and not worry about wear and tear or nasty stains.
T Loves Briefs. “Guys who only wear boxers and boxer briefs are too conformist and unimaginative.
Gay guys who only wear boxers and boxer briefs are also a bit internalised homophobic.”
JamesBriefs aren’t pushed enough more in the mainstream still.

I feel this way because although briefs are becoming huge again stores and advertisers refuse to push them more in the mainstream still.
SteveBoxer briefs and trunks are dumb. Why have all that extra fabric, usually riding up throughout the day, that isn’t necessary. Guys only wear them because they don’t want to be seen in briefs because, “briefs are for gay guys.” So dumb.
Jockstrap Junkie“1) Boxers can be sexy and comfortable. I had to make the switch a couple years ago because of a medical condition that requires the naughty-bits to get more ventilation. American Eagle is my brand of choice because they have a slimmer fit.
2) Jockstraps or thongs are better than compression shorts or boxer-briefs in the gym. Boxer-briefs and compression shorts hold moisture contrary to their advertising while jocks and thongs allow the body to breathe and allow the freedom of movement while keeping the twig’n’berries snug.
3) Tighty-whities are just horrible. I never had a good experience with tighty-whities as they pinch, pull, poor fly designs, and don’t hold shape well. This has just been my history with them … not sorry to find much better underwear.
4) Not a fan of lace or coarse mesh. As a bi-guy, I don’t like the materials on either men or women. Just looks and feels uncomfortable and not a attractive to me.
5) When did spandex become taboo? As a GenX guy, spandex shorts were the fad in the 80s and 90s and nobody gave two shits about seeing a moose knuckle. I don’t mind seeing people wear spandex shorts and they don’t need to be shamed by today’s GenX prudes that were the same GenXers that wore them decades ago.”
DanI hate jocks. However I love thongs. I feel like thongs would become accepted and mainstream but jocks are holding them back.
Simon Blu I personally love Underwear and never go commando. But thongs and g-strings are my favorite because a good pair will hold Penns and balls in place without fear or embarrassment of an erection. It also still provides support but allows minimal coverage in the back while allowing me to feel sexy and without bulging underwear lines.
JavierMore underwear should be sold in singles. Especially new brands, I want to try one first before I buy a 3 pack.
RichI’ve always had a thing about underwear. Pretty much from the early 80’s. When I was working out I was gay.  At that time, here in the UK. Briefs were pretty much all guys wore.  Then baggy boxers arrived and nearly everyone was in them.  From the word go I hated them.  Male figures, sudden smothered in shapeless fabric. I tried wearing them.  They bunched up, pulled hair and skin in every direction and offered little in the way of support.
So I kept to my briefs.
I’ve even turned down meeting guys. Based on pics of them in really unflattering baggy boxers.  Yes that might sound daft.  But how a guy looks in underwear is everything to me.  As I said to a freind once.  A guy in underwear is a bit like a birthday present. Which one would you prefer.  One wrapped in an old newspaper. Or one in a sparkly gift box with a bow on top.  Baggy boxers are my idea of old newspapers!

We will be doing more reader comments

Breaking the Speedo Stigma: Why More Men Should Embrace Swim Briefs 1 Mar 8:00 AM (last month)

In the U.S., there’s a strange stigma around men wearing Speedos. For decades, swim briefs have been primarily associated with gay men, while board shorts and baggy swimwear have been seen as the default for straight guys. But why?

The Cultural Hang-up

America has long been prudish when it comes to men expressing their bodies, especially in a way that could be perceived as “sexy.” This outdated mentality has led to a culture where men—regardless of sexual orientation—often feel restricted in their swimwear choices. However, times are changing.

Despite this stigma, Speedos has seen a resurgence in popularity. A few years ago, Speedo themselves reported a 100% increase in sales, and swim briefs as a category doubled in sales within a year. This shift suggests that more men are beginning to embrace swimwear that allows them to feel confident and comfortable.

But there’s still resistance. Many men, especially straight men, are told by their wives, families, or social circles that wearing a Speedo is inappropriate. Some wear them under shorts on vacations, wishing they could strip down and enjoy the swim brief experience.

A Look Back: Speedos in the U.S.

Speedos weren’t always taboo. In the 1980s, seeing men wearing them at beaches and pools was common. Growing up, I remember seeing two men at Virginia Beach rocking Speedos confidently. At the time, I didn’t recognize them as gay, but looking back, it makes sense. They were living their best lives, but I was still too afraid to wear what I wanted.

While we often assume Europe is more accepting, it depends on the location. In places like Mykonos and Ibiza, Speedos and thongs are the norm. However, in other parts of Europe, the perception isn’t much different from that of the U.S.

Challenging the Gay Association

The association between Speedos and gay culture likely stems from the 80s, when gay men unapologetically embraced them at Pride events and beaches. The media amplified this perception, reinforcing the idea that swim briefs were exclusively for gay men.

However, elite swimmers and divers wear Speedos regularly without a second thought. Many guys who swam competitively in high school or college recall going to the beach in Speedos with their team, only to have strangers assume they were all gay—until they realized they were athletes. The double standard is clear: Speedos are acceptable in sports but seen as suspect in everyday life.

Breaking the Stigma

So, how do we change this? Here’s what needs to happen:

  1. Wear Speedos in Public – The first step is simply normalizing them. If more guys wear them at the beach, pool, and on vacations, it’ll become less of a big deal.
  2. Encourage Other Men – Ask your friends if they’ve tried one. Challenge them to step outside their comfort zone and see how freeing it feels.
  3. Debunk the Comfort Myth – Many men assume Speedos are uncomfortable, but that’s only true if they buy high-performance swim briefs designed for competitive swimming. Brands like Todd Sanfield and 2EROS make styles with a supportive pouch that feels incredible.
  4. Create Safe Spaces – It’s easier to wear a Speedo when you’re not the only one. Organizing group trips to the beach or pool where everyone wears swim briefs can make the experience more fun and less intimidating.

The Swim Brief Challenge

One way to advance this movement is by reviving the Swim Brief Challenge, an initiative in which guys commit to wearing Speedos in public at least once a year. The goal is to normalize swim briefs and encourage more men to embrace them without fear.

Men should be able to wear what they want, where they want, without fear of judgment. If you love Speedos, rock them with confidence. It’s time to stop giving a fuck about what others think and start living for yourself.

Are you in?

The Joy of Underwear: How the Right Pair Can Boost Your Mood 24 Feb 8:00 AM (last month)

Underwear is more than just a necessity—it’s a way to express yourself, boost your confidence, and even improve your mood. If you’re an underwear lover, you know exactly what I’m talking about. If not, you might miss out on one of life’s simplest yet most satisfying pleasures.

Why Underwear Matters

Think about it: your underwear is the first thing you wear every morning. It sets the tone for the rest of your day. A great pair can make you feel sexy, comfortable, and confident, while a bad pair can leave you feeling irritated, uncomfortable, and just plain off.

So, what makes underwear unique? For me, it’s a mix of three things:

1. The Perfect Pouch

I love a good pouch design. It supports and enhances your shape and keeps everything in place without discomfort. One of my favorites is the Cocksox CXO1, which is excellent for feeling confident but may not be ideal for every situation (like a professional setting where a bulge might be too noticeable).

2. Color That Pops

Bright colors make me feel amazing. Hot pink, bold reds, vibrant greens—these shades reflect my personality and bring me joy. If you love bold colors too, don’t limit them to special occasions—wear them daily!

3. Fabric That Feels Incredible

The right fabric can be a game-changer. Modal keeps you cool in summer; spandex blends provide the perfect stretch and support, and cotton offers that classic comfort. A great pair of underwear should feel like you’re wearing nothing while giving you all the support you need.

How Underwear Affects Your Mood

Beyond comfort, underwear can directly impact your confidence and self-image. It’s a little secret weapon under your clothes that no one else needs to know about. Here’s how to make sure your underwear is always working for you, not against you:

1. Find What You Love

Do you like bright colors, fun prints, or classic designs? Do you prefer the snug fit of a bikini or the laid-back feel of a trunk? Finding what works for you is key.

2. Wear It Every Day, Not Just on Special Occasions

Don’t save your best underwear for date nights or special events—wear what makes you feel amazing daily. Life is too short for boring underwear.

3. Have a “Power Pair” for Important Days

Have a big presentation or a nerve-wracking date? Wear underwear that makes you feel your best. Whether it’s a sleek black brief, a sexy thong, or a bold print, the right underwear can boost your confidence when you need it most.

4. Experiment with Different Styles

If you always wear the same type of underwear, mix it up! Try a jockstrap, thong, or something outside your comfort zone. You might discover a new favorite.

Underwear as Self-Expression

One of the best things about underwear is that it’s the one area of your wardrobe you can control. If you must wear a uniform for work or follow a strict dress code, your underwear is your personal statement piece. Whether it’s a neon bikini under your business suit or a daring thong under your jeans, it’s your little secret.

And let’s be honest—no one is paying attention to what you’re wearing under your clothes. If someone does find out, chances are, they secretly admire your confidence.

Build a Collection That Sparks Joy

A great underwear drawer should be diverse and fun. Maybe you’re a thong-only guy, or maybe you love a mix of bikinis, jocks, and trunks. Whatever your preference, don’t be afraid to build a collection that makes you happy.

One of my favorite things is matching my underwear to my outfit. When I worked in a bank and wore a tie daily, I’d match my tie to my underwear. It was a simple, fun way to bring extra joy into my day.

The Bottom Line: Wear What Makes You Happy

Underwear should be something you enjoy, not just something you wear out of necessity. It’s a small but powerful way to feel good about yourself, boost your confidence, and embrace your personality.

So, what’s your “joy pair” of underwear? Do you have a unique pair that always makes you feel great? Do you match your underwear to your outfit? Share your thoughts—I’d love to hear them!

Brief Talk After Dark – Exploring the World of Pantyhose Fetishes with Geoff Huffman 20 Feb 8:00 AM (last month)

In a recent episode of the Brief Talk After Dark podcast, host UNB Tim sat down with Geoff Huffman to discuss a topic that’s gaining more attention in the men’s underwear and fetish community—pantyhose and stockings. From personal experiences to societal perceptions, this candid conversation sheds light on embracing one’s kinks and finding confidence in self-expression.

Discovering a Love for Pantyhose

Geoff’s journey with pantyhose began early in life, when he was immediately fascinated with the fabric’s texture and feel. However, it wasn’t until later in adulthood that he truly embraced this interest, realizing that his attraction to hosiery was more than just a curiosity—it was a part of his identity. Initially battling shame due to societal stigmas, Geoff shared how he struggled with the notion that pantyhose was considered feminine, something “real men” weren’t supposed to enjoy.

“I remember thinking, ‘This is amazing,’ but also feeling like I had to hide it,” Geoff recalled. Over time, he worked through these feelings, seeking therapy to better understand and accept his love for hosiery without guilt.

Breaking the Stigma Around Hosiery for Men

One of the key themes of the conversation was how rigid gender norms have contributed to shame around certain clothing choices. While hosiery has been traditionally marketed to women, men have worn it for practical reasons for decades—football players, for example, have used pantyhose to stay warm in cold weather.

UNB Tim noted that the perception is slowly shifting, with more brands now marketing pantyhose for men. “I’ve seen brands on Instagram using male models in their advertising, which is great to see,” he said.

Geoff added that finding others who shared his passion helped him feel less isolated. “When I started meeting guys who were into the same thing, it was a revelation. I wasn’t alone in this.”

The Sensory Experience of Pantyhose

For Geoff, the appeal of pantyhose is deeply tied to how they feel. “It’s the smoothness, the way they hug your legs—it’s almost like a hyper-sensual experience,” he explained. He enjoys sheer and glossy styles that combine visual appeal and tactile pleasure.

However, not all pantyhose are created equal. Geoff has developed preferences for certain brands, although he admits they can be difficult to find. “My favorite pair is seamless and ultra-sheer. They just feel incredible,” he shared. He also acknowledged that some members of the hosiery community frown upon wearing them with hairy legs—something he personally enjoys.

Going Public with Hosiery Fetish

Despite initial reservations, Geoff eventually embraced his love for hosiery in public through social media and real-life outings. “I started off just wearing them secretly, but now I wear them out running and even to work sometimes,” he said. Though he remains mindful of his professional environment, he finds joy in wearing something that makes him feel good.

Social media has played a big role in his journey, providing a space to share his passion and connect with others. Platforms like Instagram and Twitter allow him to showcase his looks, engage with the hosiery community, and even take requests for custom content. “I love knowing that something I do can provide someone else with pleasure. It’s a turn-on for me,” he admitted.

Finding Acceptance and Like-Minded Partners

A recurring theme in the discussion was the importance of finding partners who embrace and support kinks. Geoff shared that past relationships haven’t always been receptive, with some partners merely tolerating his love for hosiery rather than enjoying it with him. “It’s a game-changer when you meet someone who truly gets it,” he said.

UNB Tim echoed this sentiment, noting that fetish communities often struggle with acceptance, even within queer spaces. “Many people listen to the podcast looking for reassurance that they’re not alone in their kinks. And the reality is, they’re not,” he emphasized.

Final Thoughts

As the conversation wrapped up, Geoff encouraged listeners to embrace their interests unapologetically. “If it makes you happy and it’s consensual, why not own it?” he said.

For those curious about exploring hosiery, Geoff suggests experimenting with different styles and materials to find what feels best. He also advises engaging with online communities and social media platforms where like-minded individuals share their experiences.

You can follow Geoff’s journey and see his hosiery content on Instagram (@hoseman_jeffhuffman) and Twitter (@HairyInHose). For exclusive content, he also runs an OnlyFans.

The Brief Talk After Dark podcast continues to provide a safe space for men to discuss their interests and break down barriers in the underwear and fetish world. Stay tuned for more engaging conversations on personal expression, masculinity, and confidence.

Review – Real Men Apparel Nylon Mesh Bikini Briefs 18 Feb 8:00 AM (last month)

Real Men Apparel furnished the Real Men Apparel Nylon Mesh Bikini Briefs for review. All opinions in this review are my own and were not influenced by Real Men Apparel.

Rating: 10/10

Pros:

Cons:

UNB Tim Recommendation:

If you’re a fan of bikinis, tangas, or briefs, this is a must-have for your underwear collection. The fit, feel, and price make it a standout choice, and it’s versatile enough for daily wear, lounging, or even workouts. At just $12.95, it’s an unbeatable value.

Review Breakdown:

Introduction:

I was excited to review the Real Men Apparel Nylon Mesh Bikini Briefs, even though I initially thought I had received a pouchless jock. When I realized it was a bikini, I was beyond thrilled. I’ve had great experiences with Real Men Apparel in the past, especially with their bikinis, and this pair did not disappoint. Their attention to detail in bikini design is exceptional, and I was eager to see how this pair measured up.

What I Did While Wearing These:

I originally planned for a lazy day at home, but after realizing I had received a bikini, I decided to wear it around the house. It turned out to be perfect for lounging, and I could easily see myself using these for workouts or running errands. The fit was snug and comfortable, making it a versatile option for daily wear.

Fabric and Construction:

The fabric is exceptional—soft, supportive, and well-constructed. The nylon mesh material offers a great balance of breathability and comfort. The bikini design cradles everything from front to back, which is exactly what I look for in a pair. The double seam pouch may not be for everyone, but I personally find it comfortable and well-designed. Real Men Apparel has clearly put a lot of thought into their bikinis, and it shows in the quality and fit.

Sizing:

Real Men Apparel offers consistent and inclusive sizing, ranging from XS (27″) to 5XL (53″). I chose my usual size, and it fit perfectly. The C pouch worked best for me, while the D pouch tends to run larger. If you’re new to the brand, I highly recommend checking the size guide to ensure you get the right pouch size for your needs.

Conclusion:

This pair is a fantastic addition to any underwear collection. The fit, construction, and price point make it a winner in my book. The only potential downsides are the double seam pouch (which some guys dislike) and the limited color selection (currently only black). However, if you’re looking for a high-quality, affordable bikini brief, this one is a must-have.

The FEEL Pouch revolutionized men’s underwear when it launched in 2013, setting a new standard for comfort and fit. Standing for Fully Ergonomic and Elasticized, this innovative design broke the mold—literally! Unlike traditional pouches with seams that can restrict or irritate, the FEEL Pouch was the first truly three-dimensional pouch without a full or partial front seam. I’m working on a personal project reflecting on my coming-out process. Review – Real Men Apparel Nylon Leggings 9 Feb 10:00 AM (last month)

Real Men Apparel furnished the Real Men Nylon Leggings for review. All opinions in this review are my own and were not influenced by Real Men Apparel. Note the post does contain an affiliate link.

Rating: 9/10 (Average of the ratings below)

• Daily Fit: 9/10

• Sizing: 8/10

• Construction: 9/10

• Styling: 8/10

• Daily Performance: 10/10

Pros:

• Comfortable and warm for cold weather

• Multiple pouch size options for a perfect fit

• Moisture-wicking and breathable fabric

Cons:

• Limited color options for those wanting something bold

• Thicker waistband might not appeal to everyone

• Sizing the pouch correctly may take some trial and error

UNB Tim’s Recommendation:

I highly recommend the Real Men Nylon Leggings, especially for guys in colder climates or those needing light compression and affordable activewear. Whether you’re wearing them under clothes to stay warm or using them for workouts, these leggings deliver outstanding performance and comfort.

Introduction

When it gets cold, I usually avoid traditional Long Johns because they’re bulky, unsupportive, and not very stylish. Instead, I prefer wearing spandex leggings or tights under my clothes for better comfort and support. So, when Real Men Apparel sent me their Nylon Leggings for review, I was excited to try them. I’ve had a great experience with their bikinis and was eager to see how these leggings would perform on a cold day.

What Did You Do While Wearing These?

I decided to put these leggings to the test on a super cold day here in Atlanta, where the temperature dropped to 17°F. For context, I once made the mistake of wearing a jock on a chilly day—let’s say it was drafty and not ideal. These leggings, however, kept me warm and comfortable throughout the day. I wore them for work outside, paired with warm socks, and they did a fantastic job of blocking the cold and keeping drafts away.

Fabric and Construction

The Real Men Nylon Leggings are made from silky, durable nylon fabric. The material is moisture-wicking, breathable, and feels fantastic on the skin. These leggings are compression-style but not overly tight. I love a snug fit, but these strike a nice balance—tight enough for support without constricting. The pouch design is a bit looser than some may be used to, but it adjusts as you move, ensuring comfort and minimizing sweat. Plus, it’s tagless, which is always a bonus!

Sizing

I got a large size, which fits a 36–38” waist, and the fit was spot on—not too tight and loose. Authentic Men Apparel’s sizing is pretty true to form. They offer different pouch sizes (A, B, C, D), which helps ensure the best fit for every guy. If you’re an average size, go for the B pouch. If you’re bigger, size up to C or D; if you’re smaller, go with A. With a waist range from XS (27”) to 5X (53”), there’s a size for just about everyone.

Conclusion

Overall, the Real Men Nylon Leggings exceeded my expectations. They’re well-made, comfortable, and versatile—perfect for staying warm in winter or hitting the gym. While the thicker waistband and limited color options might not be for everyone, the performance and fit more than makeup for it. At $29.95, these leggings are a fantastic deal for anyone looking for functional and stylish winter wear. I highly recommend checking them out!

Underwear Shopping in Person: Why Every Guy Needs to Visit a Specialty Store 8 Feb 8:00 AM (last month)

In the world of underwear, men have countless shopping options. While guys can purchase from various brands, department stores, and small sellers on sites like Etsy, nothing compares to shopping for underwear in person. Many people feel anxious about going to a store, selecting a thong, and taking it to the counter. However, I encourage you to embrace the opportunity to shop for what you love at an underwear specialty store!

My Experiences Shopping in an Underwear Store

My journey began when I was a teenager. I wanted bikinis because I found them attractive in advertisements. I would sneak away to my local discount store to buy them. As I got older, I started shopping for underwear at department stores in the mall. It was exciting to browse different styles and purchase the pairs I had my eye on.

When I was about 19, I discovered The Boy Next Door in Atlanta. This store has become a staple in the local underwear scene, especially since several other stores like Physicos and MalePak have come and gone.

The first time I walked into The Boy Next Door, I was amazed by the floor-to-ceiling display of swim briefs in various colors and prints. When I turned around, I found an equally impressive selection of underwear. I could spend an hour browsing the styles and feeling the fabrics. As a broke college student, I could only afford one or two pairs at a time, but my wishlist grew significantly during those visits.

These experiences have given me the confidence to walk into any store, pick up a bikini, jockstrap, or thong, and head to the checkout without hesitation.

The Benefits of Shopping at an Underwear Specialty Store

If you’ve never shopped at an underwear store due to location or anxiety about people discovering your preference for specific styles, consider the following benefits:

  1. Selection: Specialty underwear stores offer many styles you may not find in regular stores. Many of these shops carry brands primarily available online or based overseas, such as Teamm8 and Marcuse.
  2. Knowledgeable Staff: Have you ever had questions about specific underwear styles but couldn’t find answers online? The staff at specialty stores are usually well-informed and can provide insights based on customer feedback and their own experiences.
  3. No Waiting: There’s no shipping time when you shop in person; you can take your new purchases home immediately. Sometimes, you can try things on and wear them out of the store.
  4. Feel and Touch: One of the advantages of in-person shopping is the ability to feel the fabric. I’ve found that sometimes a pair that looks appealing in pictures is unappealing in person, while others I was indifferent about caught my eye once I felt them. Photos don’t always do justice to certain styles.
  5. Supporting the Community: Many store owners are passionate about underwear and are part of the community. It’s important to support local businesses that cater to our interests. Many department and discount stores focus on mainstream styles, neglecting options like briefs, bikinis, or thongs.

Where to Find Underwear Stores

This is the million-dollar question. Specialty underwear stores are rare; many have closed nationwide over the past decade. However, there are still stores in larger cities, particularly those with significant gay populations. Some cities with notable underwear stores include Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Dallas.

The Need for Community in the Men’s Underwear 25 Jan 8:00 AM (2 months ago)

The men’s underwear world is more than just a niche fashion category; it’s a space where personal expression, confidence, and self-identity come together. While on the surface, it may seem like just another style choice, for many men, their underwear represents something more profound — a way to express their masculinity, sexuality, and individuality. Yet, in a world that often tells men to conform to rigid ideas of masculinity, finding a supportive community can make all the difference.

The need for community in the men’s underwear space isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s essential. Here’s why building and fostering this community matters and how it can positively impact those passionate about this often-overlooked part of men’s fashion.

1. Breaking the Taboo Around Men’s Underwear

Let’s face it: men’s underwear isn’t a typical conversation topic for most guys. For decades, society has taught men to stick with the basics — boxers, briefs, and maybe the occasional pair of trunks. Anything beyond that was considered taboo or, worse, emasculating.

The men’s underwear community challenges that outdated thinking. It’s a space where guys can openly share their love for jocks, thongs, bikinis, and more without fear of judgment. Building a community normalizes these discussions and helps break down the societal norms that dictate what men should wear.

When men see others embracing bold, sexy, and unconventional styles, they feel empowered to do the same. That’s why this community is crucial—it shows that underwear can be more than just a functional garment; it can be a form of self-expression.

2. Building Confidence and Self-Acceptance

For many men, underwear isn’t just about fashion but confidence. The right pair can make you feel sexy, powerful, and more in tune with your body. However, many guys feel isolated in their love for unique styles or fear judgment for wearing something outside the norm.

A supportive underwear community fosters self-acceptance. By connecting with others with the same interests, men are reminded that they’re not alone. Seeing diverse body types proudly rocking different underwear styles helps break down insecurities and boosts confidence.

The community also creates a safe space for men to share their stories — about discovering their first pair of bikinis or embracing body positivity. These stories inspire others to own their journey and feel empowered in their underwear choices.

3. Challenging Stereotypes of Masculinity

One of the biggest hurdles the men’s underwear community faces is the societal idea of what it means to be “masculine.” Traditional notions of masculinity tell men to be tough, emotionless, and stick to safe, conventional clothing.

But underwear has the power to challenge that narrative. The community shows that masculinity is fluid and personal — it doesn’t have to fit into a rigid box. Some men feel their most masculine in a classic white brief, while others prefer the boldness of a thong or jockstrap.

By creating a community, we redefine masculinity and allow men to be themselves without fear of judgment. We show you can be masculine and wear lace underwear or a crop top — it’s all about how you feel inside.

4. Fostering a Space for Creativity and Expression

Underwear isn’t just functional; it’s a canvas for creativity. From bold colors and prints to unique cuts and fabrics, men’s underwear brands are pushing boundaries in fashion. However, that creativity can often go unnoticed without a community to share it with.

The men’s underwear community allows people to showcase their style and explore new designs. Whether through Instagram, Reddit, or podcasts, these spaces foster creativity and self-expression.

Creators and brands also benefit from this community. Feedback from passionate fans helps shape future collections and pushes the industry to innovate. Without this shared space, the evolution of men’s underwear would stagnate.

5. A Sense of Belonging

At its core, the men’s underwear community is about belonging. Whether you find your tribe on social media or connect with others at events, it reminds you that you’re not alone in your love for underwear.

For many, it’s a space where they feel seen and accepted for who they are. It’s a place where men can openly discuss their preferences, discover new styles, and celebrate their bodies without judgment.

In an isolated world, a supportive community can make a huge difference in someone’s life. It’s more than just underwear — it’s about connection, acceptance, and celebration.

How to Get Involved in the Men’s Underwear Community

If you’re looking to find your place in the men’s underwear world, there are plenty of ways to get involved:

  1. Join Online Communities – Check out subreddits, Facebook groups, and forums dedicated to men’s underwear. These spaces allow for open discussions, brand recommendations, and style inspiration.
  2. Follow Creators and Brands on Social Media – Many influencers, artists, and brands actively engage with the community on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and BlueSky. Join the conversation by commenting, sharing, and connecting.
  3. Listen to Podcasts – Some podcasts (like the Brief Talk Podcast) dive into men’s underwear, masculinity, and self-expression topics. These shows bring the community together and spark meaningful conversations.
  4. Attend Events – Look out for men’s underwear-related events and meetups. They provide an excellent opportunity to meet others in the community and discover new brands.

Final Thoughts

The men’s underwear community is more than a shared interest — a movement toward self-expression, body positivity, and breaking outdated gender norms. It’s a space where men can find confidence in their style choices, celebrate their bodies, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Everyone wants to feel accepted and understood. The men’s underwear community offers that sense of belonging, proving that underwear is more than just a garment — it’s a statement of who you are.

So, if you’ve ever felt alone in your underwear journey, know there’s a community out there waiting to welcome you with open arms.

Review – Real Men Nylon Oin Bikinis 18 Jan 8:00 AM (2 months ago)

Real Men furnished the Nylon OIN Low Rise Bikini Briefs for review. All opinions of the review are my own and were not influenced by Real Men.

Rating: 10/10 (Average of the ratings below)

Pros:

  1. Wide range of sizes (XS to 5X) and multiple pouch options to ensure a perfect fit.
  2. Incredible fabric quality—soft, durable, and comfortable.
  3. Affordable pricing ($34 for a three-pack).

Cons:

  1. Limited color options (currently black, white, and gray).
  2. Full-back coverage may not appeal to thong enthusiasts.
  3. The pouch size may require some trial and error to find the perfect fit.

UNB Tim Recommendation:

The Real Men Nylon OIN Low Rise Bikini Briefs exceeded my expectations in every way. With their innovative pouch options, luxurious fabric, and attention to fit, they are a standout choice for anyone who loves bikinis or wants to explore them. I wholeheartedly recommend this pair to anyone looking to add a well-made, affordable bikini brief to their collection.

Introduction

Real Men is a relatively new brand to me, and I was eager to try their products. Their Nylon OIN Low Rise Bikini Briefs caught my attention due to their affordability and range of features. I chose this pair because bikinis are a staple in my underwear collection, and I was intrigued by their extensive sizing and pouch options. Upon receiving them, I was immediately impressed by the fabric’s quality and couldn’t wait to put them to the test.

What I Did While Wearing Them

Over several days, I wore these bikinis in various settings, including work, errands, and lounging at home. Each time, they performed exceptionally well, providing all-day comfort and support. The briefs moved effortlessly with me, adapting to my activities without any discomfort. They felt so good that I wore the white pair as I wrote this review!

Fabric and Construction

The fabric of these bikinis is nothing short of extraordinary. The nylon is smooth, soft, and slightly sheer, adding a subtle sexy vibe. It feels premium—comparable to much pricier pairs. The construction is top-notch, with reinforced stitching and a design that ensures durability. The pouch design is particularly noteworthy, offering a tailored fit that adapts to your body throughout the day.

Sizing

I opted for my usual size with the D pouch, but I found the C pouch to be a better fit. Real Men’s sizing chart is accurate, but the variety of pouch options may require experimentation to find your ideal fit. It’s a minor inconvenience, but the payoff is worth it when you land on the perfect size. The wide size range is commendable, making this brand accessible to a broad audience.

Conclusion

The Real Men Nylon OIN Low Rise Bikini Briefs are a fantastic addition to any underwear drawer. Their superior fabric, thoughtful design, and affordability make them a must-have. While I’d love to see more vibrant color options in the future, the current selection is still appealing. For just $34, this three-pack delivers incredible value, and I can’t wait to try more from Real Men. Don’t hesitate—these bikinis are a game-changer.

Living Your Best Life in Spandex: A Conversation with Fourway333 12 Jan 10:00 AM (2 months ago)

Living Your Best Life in Spandex: A Conversation with Fourway333

Welcome to another edition of the Brief Talk After Dark podcast! In this episode, UNB Tim is joined by Fourway333, a well-known spandex enthusiast who has been living his life in vibrant and versatile gear. Their conversation dives deep into how Fourway333 got into spandex, why he loves it, and tips for others wanting to embrace their love of this unique fabric.

Discovering the Magic of Spandex

Fourway333’s love for spandex began in high school when he played football. He noticed many teammates wearing leggings under their gear for warmth and compression. After giving it a try himself, he was hooked. Over the years, his collection grew, and his passion expanded beyond the athletic field into everyday life.

“It started with sports gear,” he shared. “I just really enjoyed the fabric and the way it made me feel. It became more than just functional gear—it was a part of who I am.”

Taking Spandex from the Gym to Everyday Life

Many men start by wearing spandex for sports or under clothes, but for Fourway333, it became a staple in his everyday wardrobe. He shared how he gradually transitioned from wearing spandex for sports to wearing it in public for hiking, cycling, and even casual outings.

“I noticed more guys wearing spandex outside of the gym, and I thought, why not me? It’s comfortable and practical, and, honestly, it makes me feel great. So, I started wearing it more often, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Embracing Confidence and Body Positivity

What sets Fourway333 apart is his advocacy for body positivity. He’s not a supermodel or a fitness influencer. Instead, he’s a real guy with a real body who loves wearing gear that makes him feel confident.

“I’ve done a lot of cycling, hiking, and swimming, so I have an athletic build, but I’m not perfect. I’m thick in some areas, and I’ve learned to embrace that. I want to inspire other guys to wear their gear proudly, no matter their size or shape.”

Building a Community Around Spandex

With over 13,000 followers on social media, Fourway333 has built a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for spandex. He’s also working on a project to create a site where people can buy, sell, and trade gear, making it more accessible to those just starting their spandex journey.

“I love the idea of passing on gear to someone who’s just getting started. When I was starting out, I would have loved a community like this.”

Advice for Spandex Beginners

For those looking to wear spandex in public for the first time, Fourway333 has some great advice:

  1. Start Small: “Get some leggings and wear them under shorts at the gym. Baby steps are key. You don’t need to go all-in right away.”
  2. Find Your Style: “Choose pieces that make you feel comfortable and confident. There’s a wide variety of spandex gear, from practical to fetish, so find what suits you.”
  3. Ignore the Naysayers: “Don’t worry about what others think. If you let other people’s opinions control you, you’ll never truly be yourself.”

The Practical Side of Spandex

One of the things that makes Fourway333’s collection unique is its versatility. His gear is practical and can be worn daily without drawing too much attention.

“I focus on pieces that are stylish yet practical. Sure, I have some fetish gear, but most of my collection can be worn for workouts, hikes, or just casual outings. And yes, I love to match my gear with my sneakers!”

Fourway333’s Favorite Brands

When it comes to brands, Fourway333 recommends starting with major athletic brands like Under Armour, Nike, and Adidas. He also suggests exploring smaller, niche brands for more unique pieces.

“A friend of mine, Hung Out to Dry, makes amazing custom spandex gear. There are also affordable options on Amazon if you’re just starting out. The key is to find gear that fits well and makes you feel good.”

The Future of Spandex Culture

As spandex becomes more mainstream, Fourway333 sees a growing community of men embracing it for sport and fashion. He even hopes to see dedicated spandex events in the future.

“I’ve been organizing local bike rides and hikes with other spandex lovers. It’s great to meet people who share the same passion. Hopefully, we’ll see more events like this in the future.”

Closing Thoughts

Fourway333’s story is one of self-expression, confidence, and community. His journey from a football player trying out compression leggings to a spandex advocate with a massive online following shows the power of embracing what makes you happy.

If you’ve ever been curious about spandex or want to feel more confident in your gear, take a page from Fourway333’s book—start small, be true to yourself, and don’t let anyone hold you back.

What Do Your New Year’s Eve Underwear Colors Mean? A Global Guide to Good Luck Traditions

When it comes to New Year’s Eve, traditions around the world are steeped in symbolism, and one fun custom that has gained popularity is choosing the right color of underwear to wear as you ring in the new year. Believed to influence your luck in the year ahead, this practice varies from country to country, with each color representing a specific wish or aspiration. Here’s a guide to some of the most popular New Year’s Eve underwear colors and the countries where this tradition began:

1. Red – Love and Passion (Spain, Italy, Latin America)

If romance is on your wish list, red is your go-to color. In countries like Spain and Italy, wearing red underwear is thought to attract love and passion in the coming year. This tradition has also spread across Latin America, where red is often paired with festive celebrations to encourage fiery connections.

2. Yellow – Prosperity and Wealth (Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador)

In South America, yellow underwear is worn to invite financial success and prosperity. Countries like Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador celebrate New Year’s Eve with vibrant festivities, and yellow is a symbol of gold and abundance. For the best results, many believe you should wear your yellow underwear inside out until midnight!

In Brazil, white is not just about underwear—it’s the color of the entire outfit for many revelers. Symbolizing purity, peace, and new beginnings, white underwear ensures a year free of conflicts and filled with serenity.

8. Black – Power and Sophistication (Italy, Global)

While some consider black a bold or unconventional choice for New Year’s Eve, in Italy and other parts of the world, it signifies power, sophistication, and independence. If you hope to exude confidence and control, black might be the way.
