looks vs practicality??? I feel the mono shock debate was answered in the 70s my bike weighs 270 wet, and where that weight was taken off makes a huge difference, my 0 to 100 and back to 0 is almost....

Allen Millyard makes, or had made 5 cylinder H1's. I read he cuts the engine block by hand with a hacksaw, and matches the halves by hand filing the surface!!
